About this property

The Curtis Park Club, The Ultimate Group Retreat

Summary:
The Curtis Park Club is an intimate boutique hotel located in the heart of RiNO, one of Denver's most vibrant neighborhoods. It is the ideal venue for group retreats, work events, and more. With its charming atmosphere and versatile spaces, it provides the perfect setting for gatherings. Whether you're planning a team-building retreat or a corporate event, The Curtis Park Club offers a unique and welcoming environment. Explore the possibilities and make your next group experience truly special.

The Space:
Our mission is to provide every guest with the most memorable experience imaginable during their time in Denver. To help aid in creating those memories. The CPC encompasses nine unique, private spaces. Eight of the private spaces are individual rooms inside the main home. The ninth space is adjacent to the main home in a charming carriage home, also known as The Grand Curtis. Whether you're a "Charming Cowboy" or a "Notorious Outlaw", you'll find exactly what you need at The Curtis Park Club.

Upon entering through the front gate, guests will be immersed in the elegance of The Curtis Park Club.

Room 1: The Western Allure

The Curtis Park Club is a small boutique hotel located in the heart of RiNo, a vibrant neighborhood in Denver, Colorado. The Western Allure is the first of nine rooms available in the beautiful space. The one bedroom, one bathroom space is located in the front exterior of the house. Inside the room, guests will find a queen bed, seating area near the fireplace, TV, and bathroom with a shower. Next to the seating area, you’ll find a breakfast bar along with a microwave and mini fridge.

Room 2: The Charming Cowboy

The Curtis Park Club is a small boutique hotel located in the heart of RiNo, a vibrant neighborhood in Denver, Colorado. The Charming Cowboy is the second of nine rooms available in the picturesque space. The one bedroom, one bathroom room is accessible from the front exterior of the house. Inside the room, guests will find a queen bed, breakfast area near the fireplace and TV, and full bathtub in the bathroom. Next to the breakfast bar, guests will find a charming seating area — for those who like to sit back and enjoy the moment.

Room 3: Notorious Outlaw

Notorious Outlaw is inspired by everyone’s favorite outlaw — Jesse James. The one bedroom, one bathroom space is one of our larger available rooms. The room is the third of nine rooms and is located in the interior of the house. Inside the room, you’ll find a queen bed, lounge area and TV, and a breakfast area near the fireplace. The lounge area is one of our personal favorites — it’ll truly be a delight for anyone who snags the room.

Room 4: Manager's Unit - Off Limits to Guests at ALL Times.

Room 5: Pinky's Palace

Pinky’s Palace is the namesake of Pinny Mallard, the wife of Curtis Park's historical candy shop owner, David W. Mallard. We didn’t know Pinky, but we can only imagine she was a woman of elegant and fun tastes. Pinky’s Palace is a one bedroom, one bathroom room tucked away upstairs in the interior of the space. The room is number five of nine available rooms. Inside, guests will find a seating area and TV near the fireplace, Queen bed tucked away in the corner, a microwave and mini fridge, and a full bathtub in the bathroom.

Room 6: Smith's Crescendo

Smith’s Crescendo has been properly named due to the musical accents throughout the space. The space is the sixth of nine available rooms. The room is located upstairs and can be accessed through the interior. The space has a modern, open layout that includes a queen bed, dresser and closet for clothes and storage, and a lounge area and TV near the fireplace. A bathroom with a bathtub is burrowed away near the closet space. Sit back, relax and play a tune or two during the day while you’re waiting for time to pass.

Room 7: Captivating Cowgirl

The Captivating Cowgirl is the seventh of nine rooms available in The Curtis Park Club. The room is accessible through the interior of the home, located upstairs near the communal area. Inside the room, we have placed a queen bed along with a dresser. On the opposite side of the room, guests will fall in love with the comfortable seating area settled near the fireplace. If there’s any leftovers, there’s a mini fridge and microwave available for use. The Captivating Cowgirl is a desirable home base for those currently having a love affair with the City of Denver.

Room 8: Radiant Rancher

The Radiant Rancher is known for the light that pours in through the windows throughout the day. As the corner unit, the room has an extra window compared to its counterparts -- hence its name, The Radiant Rancher. The room is the eighth out of nine available rooms. Inside, guests will find a breakfast bar equipped with a microwave and mini fridge, as well as a dining area for two. Nestled in the corner of the room sits a queen bed and wardrobe. The one bedroom space also features a bathroom with shower. Best part? The room has its own private entrance - no need to worry about disturbing your fellow travelers during the night.

Room 9: Enchanting Escape

The Enchanting Escape is a one bedroom, one bathroom space accessible from the exterior of the house. The private entrance allows those who are more of a night owl to enjoy their time as late as they desire without disturbing other guests. Inside of the space, we have placed a queen bed, wardrobe, mini fridge and microwave. Tired of sitting inside your room while you wait for your day to begin? Step outside and sit down in one of the two chairs available outside of the room.

Carriage House: The Grand Curtis

Go big or go home - right? Well, you’ll certainly go big and never want to go home after your first night’s stay in The Grand Curtis. Upon entering, guests will be in awe of the home’s natural charm. One of the first rooms you will notice is the hip living room, decorated in a fitting aesthetic to complement the Main Home’s vibe. Inside of the living room, we have placed ample seating for four and a TV near the fireplace. Around the corner, guests will fall in love with the open layout of the dining area and kitchen. Thinking of making yourself more at home? Utilize the kitchen to create a delicious meal for you and your guests. There’s also seating for four outside on the patio. After a long day of adventuring, slip into something more comfy or start a bath in the clawfoot tub. Trust us - it’s one of the best treats you’ll have during your stay.

Great place for a group retreat
This is a great property in the heart of Denver! We used it for a company leadership retreat, and it was great since everyone had their own room and bathroom. The drawbacks were minor - parking was a bit tough (but it's the city!), and the one full kitchen had minimal dishes and silverware. If you're bringing in a group, be sure to bring in your own plates and silverware. The bed count on the VRBO listing was off - which caused us to change our plans at the last minute. Otherwise, it's a great place!

Fantastic vrbo!
Our team absolutely loved the vrbo as a staff retreat! We had 8 of us staying in the hotel and we had about 25 people for an evening get together and catered dinner. It was spacious and worked great for a large group while also giving person space for each person staying at the club. We really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor spaces, including a rooftop deck with two large tables for eating outside. The hosts were always responsive and quick to support us if needed. The only challenges we had were with parking (lots of 2 hour parking and some all day parking, but may require a walk to the building). In addition, some helpful tips for future guests: there's no full kitchen except in the carriage house. We brought in catering and used the main upstairs dining area. There are no coffee pots--just a keurig (but there are coffee shops in walking distance). The location (Curtis Park Neighborhood) is a great place to walk around an eat delicious food! We loved our stay and will certainly be back in years to come!

Dreamy Secret Garden Getaway in the City
STAY HERE!!! Had all of our family members (17!!) here for our wedding weekend and Curtis Park Club was one of the the best experiences that made the whole weekend extremely memorable. As soon as you walk up it feels like a secret garden with beautiful little details and plants everywhere and HUGE porches. Inside, there’s a fun and unique vibe with thoughtful details and big windows that bring in the most dreamy light. Each room has its own fridge, microwave and bathroom and lots of privacy, but there is still a common area with plenty of space to socialize. Most of our family members hadn’t met before, so I’d say this is perfect for groups who don’t want to squeeze everyone together in a house, but still want a space to socialize more than you can in a hotel. Parking is a little tough, but better than typical places in RiNo/Downtown. Plus, this place is close to EVERYTHING and we were able to walk most of the weekend with everyone (ages 17-80+!). The location is still peaceful and you’d never realize you’re in a city. It’s also super accessible to take the A-Line from the airport and the 43 bus line goes near the place. This is without a doubt the BEST place we’ve ever stayed at. Thank you for making our trip so special.

Beautiful, clean, well kept property in a great location. Had minor issues with getting into rooms, but property managers quickly responded to both events. Highly recommend this listing for rental!

Perfect for Team Off-Sites
Highly recommended! A beautiful property with tons of old-world charm and ambiance. Our team of 7 held our quarterly off-site strategy meeting here and everyone loved it. The experience was so much nicer than a typical hotel event center, especially for such a small group. The home is set up as an elegant BnB (without the breakfast), with each spacious room having an en-suite bath, smart TV, mini-fridge and microwave. All but one of the ten rooms also has a fireplace - which we were all grateful for since our visit was during a week of frigid snow. Even so the place was always warm & cozy, and the showers hot, hot, hot! The downstairs gathering area is great for morning coffee or evening drinks. Bottled water & a selection of Keurig coffee & tea are always available. The upstairs gathering area is ideal for meetings, has a smart TV for casting laptops to, and offers access to the back deck. Both gathering areas had huge fireplaces - again, well appreciated due to the snowy weather. The neighborhood is off the main corridor, so the area is quiet, but close enough to all the downtown restaurants and other conveniences - either by a short walk or easy Uber. We were able to have groceries and lunches delivered on-site, and then dine out at several trendy 5-star restaurants in the evening. We also attended a local art-show as a team builder. The owner/manager was amazing - very responsive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it's number one on our list when we return to Denver.

Work Retreat
My coworker's and I rented the Curtis Park Club for a work retreat and had an amazing stay. We enjoyed that we all had separate rooms and bathrooms. I was able to stay in the carriage house where the kitchen is with my newborn without disturbing the rest of the house. The common spaces in the main house are spacious and great for groups. We also appreciated the complimentary beverages. We had several questions during our stay that were answered quickly by both email and telephone communication. The club is also in walking distance to RINO so we were able to enjoy going to restaurants in the neighborhood as well. We are hoping to rent this facility out for another event this summer as well!
