The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. It was in an excellent location, close to shopping, restaurants, subway and trolly stop just out front door. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The rool in bed was an actual small bed. My 16 year old daughter said it was very comfortable. The only reason I gave the rating as 4 star was because the refrigerator in the room was only good enough to keep drinks cool. We called matenance, but were told the purpose of the fridge is only for drinks. The hotel should purchase proper mini fridges so people can use them for restaurant leftovers, not just for drinks. Do not plan on using the fridge to keep food cold. The main reason we stayed at the hotel was for the roof top pool. The first day we got to the pool we had trouble getting loung chairs, it was a holiday weekend, so I don’t know if that had anything to do with it. The pictures of the pool area made it look much bigger, however still nice to have a roof top pool with bar and food services. The life guard was very friendly and really kept a good eye on the pool area. There is also a small snak coffee room in the lobby where everything is complimentary to hotel guests. We also used the gym. It is small but had many different types of machines and free weights

Would highly recommend the Colonnade Hotel! Its location in Back Bay is easily accessible to everything. We walked to Fenway, all kinds of restaurants and sites such as the Boston Public Library or Boston Commons or just easily hoped the subway right out the front door, which is so easy to navigate. Just a quick $2.40 Apple Pay to ride to North End or anywhere on the Waterfront. Our room was quite spacious and had a beautiful city view with the floor to ceiling windows the entire length of the room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The elevators were fast and they even offered a room that you could access with your room key that held snacks, sodas and bottled water, coffee and ice free of charge! The rooftop pool was so relaxing at the end of a busy day of sightseeing as well. One more thing- if you’re flying into Logan- use the Back Bay Shuttle bus service for free to get to the hotel, it drops you off a block away and it’s only $3 to ride it back to the airport. What a bonus! We would definitely stay at the Colonnade again!

Great stay in Back Bay

Rooms are large and comfortable. I don’t care for the fact they allow non guests buy pool passes, making it difficult to find a seat at the pool. $30 resort fee seems a bit ridiculous. Yes, many hotels in Boston do that but doesn't make it right. Staff encountered were all very kind and hotel is in a great location.

The best service of any hotel at which I’ve stayed. The front desk greets everyone coming and going. A porter had a towel and bottle of water ready for me when I returned from my run.

We recently enjoyed 5 nights in this hotel in June 2025. The location is brilliant, with a T stop right outside the front door! It was an easy 15 minute walk to Fenway, and also an easy walk to lots of restaurants amd bars nearby. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Sadly we never made it to the rooftop pool, but its a reason to go back to stay again!
