See, feel, smell and hear the ocean from your beach house! Just steps away from the beach, treat yourself to a get-away at this quaint cottage by the sea! Come and enjoy spacious decks with plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the views and sounds of the ocean at beautiful Dauphin Island.
- The house is equipped with Wi-Fi and cable television in each room with a large flat-screen in the living room, and bedrooms. The rooms have comfortable beds with large windows and doors that invite the ocean views right inside with you! - The Master Bedroom has doors leading out to a ocean view deck with lounge chairs just waiting for you to come and relax. The decks facing the ocean have 4 big rocking chairs with a bistro table for two! Downstairs is an outdoor gathering area with two 5ft. relaxing swings, and a dining table. While you are out on the decks, you don't want to miss the sunrise with a cup of coffee or the sunset with friends and family! There are two additional outdoor tables for dining and a bbq grill for your convenience. You can rent bikes and kayaks that will be delivered right to your door! There is a bike trail along the entire island for biking, jogging, walking, and skateboarding. Another favorite activity is surf fishing right out on 'your' beach!

My wife and I don’t enjoy beIng in a commercialized place for vacations so we were told about dauphin island and we found this place and it looked peaceful so we decided to give it a shot. The week we were there it was so quiet and peaceful. We got rested up only wishing we could have stayed a couple more days, and we decided that we weren’t cooking all week and we found the fresh seafood to be a real treat. We would both recommend this house and beach area unless you’re into night life then go elsewhere.

Morning glory

This was our 2nd time to stay here. This time the front door was hanging up was hard to open the bathroom door was sticking shut my wife couldnt get out without my help had to use the bathroom without closeing the door and in front of the sink in the kitchen the floor had a weak place was bouncy had to not walk there and there was visible dust on all the lamp shades. Outside to walk to the beach the walk way was very deep with rain water we had to walk through other properties that was not walk through friendly.

Relaxing Beach Vaca

Such a great place to stay with just a short walk to the beach. The house had everything our family of six needed. Plenty of room, comfy seating in the living, large dining table, and nice bedrooms/bathrooms. The outdoor swings and rockers were also a favorite in the mornings and evenings. We would love to visit again!

Great place for family

This home fit our needs perfectly. Affordable, 2 minute walk to the beach and central to everything the island had to offer. Plenty of room for my husband and me and our three daughters. My girls loved the beachy decor and the beds were comfy. I loved the bike trail that ran in front of the house and all the way from one end of the island to the other for my early morning runs. The beach was beautiful, especially in the evenings and not at all crowded.

Family vacation at the Morning Glory

My parents, myself, my adult brother, and my 3 children stayed at the Morning Glory recently, and we had a wonderful time! My brother had never seen the ocean, and my parents have never seen my children in the ocean. A good time was had by all! The house is well stocked with towels, kitchen items, items for kids to take to the beach, a fan(for those who need the noise to sleep), and paper products.The walk to the beach from the home is about 5-8 minutes(we had a wagon with us to haul our belongings, so this may have affected our time.)The only downsides I may list is that there was not much dishsoap in the kitchen to hand wash pots/pans and to clean the stovetop/counter with after cooking. And that the communal pool mentioned is the one at Pirates restaurant, which charges 5 per person to get in. These are very minor things, and it would not deter us from staying there again! The host was wonderful and answered every question I had in a timely manner. We had a wonderful stay, and would stay again :) thank you so much.(It will not allow me to post pictures, so I apologize.)

This is a very well laid out and maintained small beach house. Easy walk to the beach and an easy drive to businesses, restaurants and shopping. The owner was very attentive to our needs. There are porches facing in three directions which makes the moon rise and sun set views excellent. The house was equipped with all the gadgets necessary for an enjoyable week at the beach.

Awesome Beach House

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. Nice place to reset. Cozy and clean. Kitchen well stocked. Easy beach access and a great view of the gulf from 2 sides of the deck. Owners very responsive. Internet works good too!

Great location and house. Within walking distance of the beach and very uncrowded area. This was actually my second stay here. Close to all shops and boat ramps. Good parking. Good kitchen and shower. Plus has a nice wash off area under deck. Would stay again!

Great place to stay. Clean, perfect size, very short walking distance to the beach/ocean and I think my favorite thing was the wrap around porch and view. Host was very quick to respond to questions. I recommend and would stay again. It was hard to leave.
