When i first got there, there were several wasps in the tree and flying around the tree by the driveway. I let Roxanne know, and at first she was like, they were just there and didnt see any, so i sent a video as proof, and only then did she apologize and she sent her clean up guy to come spray the tree. I waited for about half an hour or so for him to come. The place was peaceful, quite spacious, and cozy. My dad ended up falling 3 times because the floors blend into each other and he didnt realize there were steps, then my brother in law fell once, and my 80 year old uncle fell outside because the patio florrs also just drop, and due to the floors all being one color, you cannot tell there is a step unless you just already know. There was poop in the yard that my baby cousonstepped in in back. There was pet hair on couches and floor. I swept it up. Bugs flying everywhere. There was no access to any regular tv or apps, you have to log into your own. The beds were low which made it difficult for my dad to get up. Plenty of towels. Lots of closet space, but unfinished closet. Nice view. Garage space, but full of spider webs and bugs. The bikes were flat and the pedals didnt move. Neighbors were kind to my guests. I accidentally took 2 face towels belonging to the home and left my own 2 face towels, but will send them in mail. We enjoyed ourselves despite all of this because we were there to celebrate my Dad on the lake we grew up on, but I am not happy about the upkeep.

The interior of the house is clean and nicely maintained & decorated, but if you’re looking for a true vacation home experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The listing is Misleading & Falsely Advertised. Photos 21, 22 clearly show that the patio furniture was deliberately moved from behind the fence and staged in front of it to create a deceptive image suggesting a lake view. In reality, the fence completely blocks any view of the lake, which is not at all what was represented in the listing. One of the main reasons to rent a lake house is to enjoy the scenery and relax outdoors with a cold drink, but this property unfortunately doesn’t offer that. Additionally, the house is TIGHTLY packed in a row of other homes, so there’s NO sense of privacy. The surrounding neighborhood also felt sketchy and UNsafe—we had second thoughts the moment we started driving in.Overall, while the inside of the house is fine, the exterior environment and location don’t match what you’d expect from a relaxing lake getaway.

Nice place to stay near Lake

Cute condo type home. With plenty of bedrooms for a full family to stay at. The house was roomy and had lots of space to relax in. Large hot tub was a welcome relaxation. We would stay here again when in the area.

Clean and dirty

Inside the house was immaculate, but back patio was awful…dirty, spider webs, bird droppings every where. We had to go get our blower to clean the patio, clean off the dirty hot tub, etc. I almost started crying because this was a very special birthday weekend with his kids and my kids. I thought the lake was a lot closer too. Again, the inside was great!

Great place & owner!

Accurate description and well stocked (too many VRBOs are not well-stocked, not this one - Roxanne has all you need). Easy walk down to the water, spacious place, clean. Roxanne is a responsive host and accommodated a special request, which we really appreciated! Highly recommend!

Wonderful lakeside venue

This property is right on the water! We loved the lake and the hot tub. The rooms and kitchen were well stocked. Roxanne was very easy to communicate with and extremely flexible when we needed to change our reservation dates. Highly recommend for a great family trip!

Relaxing getaway near the lake

This property had everything you could ask for. I especially enjoyed drinking coffee each morning in the backyard. The view was incredible. The lights and giant tree in the backyard had a magical feel. We weren’t able to enjoy the lake activities because of our schedule and recent rain but appreciated the availability of the kayaks and bikes. I also loved the family atmosphere. This property had plenty of games to keep all family members entertained. We would definitely recommend this property!
