The Punta cana airport is one hour away from La Romana. We took a cruise out of La Romana . The Hilton Garden Inn La Romana is beautiful but the staff is extremely slow. The buffet breakfast is just so-so. Food and drinks are expensive if you aren’t doing the all-inclusive.
