We are thrilled to know that achieved our goal, the full enjoyment, relax and satisfaction of our guests.Also, it is important to note that like many other beaches in the Dominican Republic, ours does not correspond to the image of turquoise water and white sand. However, this does not mean that Bahia La Romana is not a clean or unsuitable beach for bathers, as a very strict cleaning routine is carried out on a constant and daily basis. The property is beautifully landscaped ,very clean and safe. The staff is very nice, everyone was very welcoming and friendly, a big Thank you to our room attendant Teresa, she was very helpful and quick to provide us with fresh towels and bottles of water when we needed it. The buffet was always plentiful and very clean. What needs improvement is mostly in management’s power: fixing up the outdated, poorly lit bathrooms, old noisy appliances in the rooms should be changed (fridge, coffee machine) and guests should be provided with robes and room slippers, this is the first resort that I haven’t had that in the room. We asked for it but we were told that “they don’t provide that”… Slippers would have been greatly appreciated, considering the cold tiled floors. Also bathroom had the cheapest, awful soap bar possible, and same poor quality shampoo and conditioner were the only two other items provided. Again, all these things are something that management can and has the power to improve. They have a good staff, but there is only so much staff can do if they have no resources to do it with.

The resort Bahia Grand LaRomana was just mere excellence in the staff, service, rooms amd property. The staff at Bahia go far and beyond for their visitors. My husband and i would give this resort a 10 star. Worth evey penny spent. The hospitality was one to remember. The restaurants had a first class service along with a rich variety of foods to choose from. The beach was clean and the bartenders were very attentive. The resort had it all and not often can i say the same in other resorts that we stayed at. We travel alot and have been to many places, and Bahia is definitely a 10.

The grounds were well kept, staff was friendly and made the stay more enjoyable. The pool water could have been warmer it was too cold. The a la carte restaurants were amazing! We will definitely be back and bring our family.

Room needed upgrade. Hard .ttress and standard pillows for a king bed. Bathroom is also old. Has slippery bathtub. Grounds area were fine and well kept and clean.

We really enjoyed ourselves, but here are the negatives: The housekeeping would leave random toiletries every day. Some days we would get bar soap, others liquid, and three different types of shampoo. A few days we didn’t receive hair conditioner. We only received body lotion on the penultimate day, and it was very missed because our skin was so dry from the sun and sunblock and bug spray all week. Our mini fridge also had random drinks in there. Some days there was beer, others not. I found it very irritating that there was not a place to eat breakfast or dinner outdoors. The COVID 19 pandemic is still ongoing and so every meal at the crowded buffet where people all shared the same serving spoons to serve themselves food and crowded around certain foods unmasked felt so gross. I also felt misinformed because I read on the booking website that there was room service, but upon arrival learned that it is only offered on the adults only side of the resort. It is false advertising to list it under this hotel when it is not actually available. I had planned to do room service to avoid the buffet, so this revelation was upsetting to me.

Our stay was during the holiday week for thanksgiving & it was a great one. we had a nice clean room, good toiletries & service through out the property. Beach area was good, nice & clean with plenty of lounge chairs to use. We didn't get to try any of the restaurants since they happened to be booked but no worries here food at the buffet was very good, lots of options. my only complaints was house keeping seemed to come very late & the out door bars close kinda early by 6.
