Amazing experience. From the food to the service, was all excellent. Felt extremely safe from the time you pull in and even night time security was present. Entertainment was a 10. I have already recommended to a friend. I will remember this place 20 years from now.

Subpar hotel advertised as a 4.5 star hotel

This hotel is undergoing major renovations. Poor air and noise quality in rooms due to daily renovations (including painting and use of loud power tools). Our room smelled like drying paint for the entire duration of our entire 7 day trip and is not advisable for families with small children or people with respiratory difficulities. A TV was left on for 2 days (by workmen) in the unoccupied, neighboring room and our “courtesy” fruit basket arrived the day before check-out (only after complaining for the 2nd time). Upon check-in we were told that our room would be upgraded to a larger room with a king sized bed to accommodate the high volume of vacationers needing double beds, only to find a room that had not been cleaned or laundered. Sheets had visible stains and multiple lighting fixtures were broken. Sheets were changed w/in 30 minutes, but lighting fixtures (with live currents remained unfixed upon checkout, despite informing Guest Services that I had been shocked). The usually complimentary safe was $3.50/night. The remote was not programmed and required manual input of channels, but no channel guide was provided. The Japanese restuarant, while not terrible, believed it was “okay” for strangers to share the same soy sauce dish. The beach and the smiles of the staff/entertainers made up for any inconveniences, but we will not be booking with the Be Live chain again. Next year we will try other platforms to determine if their descriptions and reviews are more accurate.

Nice place with a few issues

Pros: Beautiful grounds, beach is great and close, nice pool, food was good, friendly staff, always something going on, Hotel and grounds were very clean
Cons: Teach the male staff to respect women, get rid of all the pushy vendors, and for god sakes get real milk. Chocolate and regular.
Location: About an hour from the airport but all the cabbies drive fast. Small town and casino nearby. You don't really have to leave. It all comes to you.
All in all we had a nice time, kinda far from the airport so prepare for big cab fare. Check in was a breeze. Rooms were nice and clean. Always something to do or just do nothing. All the rooms are centrally located so you are close to everything. Pool was big and nice and clean always. Beach was very nice. The drinks were okay but some were a bit too sweet for me. Pool bar closes at 6pm then the pool at 7pm but the snack BAR serves until 4am and the Plaza Bar is 24 hours. The club is outrageous! So much fun. The buffet is well stocked with local fare as well as your usual buffet food. Really strong coffee! Our excursions were awesome ( dune buggies and catamaran ). The only drawbacks were very pushy vendors, cat calls from male employee's at my daughter, and NO REAL MILK! Chocolate or otherwise.

Rooms need to be remodeled!!!

I loved the hotel. The staff were very friendly. Hotel was clean but the rooms need to be upgraded. We were without electricity a whole day. Sheets smelled bad. Pool, restaurants and other facilities were clean. The beach wasn't what I expected.

Great and Beautiful hotel. I loved

Pros: Everything, specially the entertainment group. They were so professional. We enjoyed so much!!!!!!!!!!! their night shows.
Cons: The bathroom around of beach.
Location: Excellent location, near to everything.
It was a wonderful and excited experience. we enjoyed all amenities that the hotel had. The employees of the hotel were so friendly, mannerly, and polite. The entertainment group were so so good, we laugh a lot. We passed marvelous days.

Excellent resort

We were very happy with the resort. Great place to stay. Many activities on the property. Be sure to make restaurant dinner reservations as soon as you get there for the entire stay. Italian restaurant not worth it to go to it had the same food as the buffet. Japanese restaurant and gourmet restaurant were excellent great food and service.

Worst resort ever

What a waste of money ..from the moment we checked in it was all problems ..we hadn't even received our room keys and the staff was trying to wheel and deal us ..offering room Upgrades for free as long as we "did something for him"...we had to bring our own bags to our room up 3 flights of stairs..we lost power while showering ...the pool ran out of towels everyday and we had to lay out with no towels ..the food at the restaurants was a disgrace ..we went to the Mexican restaurants they had and they literally gave us saugy tortilla chips with canned spray cheese on it ..the buffet food was awful and made me and my boyfriend both get sick ..I could go on and on..for all inclusive we didn't really get what we paid for since it took 3 hours to get a drink and when we finally Did the alcohol was so bad I couldn't even drink it ..the frozen drinks weren't frozen and the staff completely ignores you unless your waving money in there face ..I wouldn't go back here for free
