This was a GREAT little place right outside of Crystal River. The host was very nice and helpful. The house was super clean and had everything that the 5 of us needed. Loved hanging out on the screened-in porch at night and looking up at all the stars! Lovely water views. We didn't have a boat but I can see how great it would be for people that did bring a boat. We really enjoyed Pecks Old Port Cove for dinner one evening. Amazing service and very good food and drinks!And I highly recommend River Ventures for their Manatee tour. Five stars all the way for this trip!

We had an amazing stay at the Ozello Lighthouse. We really appreciated the fact we could get an extra kayak so that all of us could enjoy the water. It was a great location to explore Crystal River and Homosassa and the drive to and from the house is stunning.The house was clean, had plenty of room for all of us and the screened in porch was perfect. We enjoyed our meals while overlooking the water.Bonus we were able to have our groceries delivered so no wasting time shopping! The kitchen is pretty well stocked with what you will need to cook up a meal. The only thing I would suggest is be sure to bring some toilet paper and some dish soap. Start ups were provided and we use vacation homes a lot so we were prepared.Thanks for everything we will be back!

Worked perfect for our family vacation even though some of the family were in different homes. Enjoyed the dock and kayaks. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans which was nice since we ate breakfast in each morning. Host was very helpful and kind.

Waterman’s dream stay

This place is super comfortable and well taken care of inside and out. The neighbors are very friendly and we’re super helpful. Our stay wasn’t long but I would come back with a shallow boat and stay for a week if I could, fishing the mangroves and exploring the area. My wife loved the sun room it was such a cool experience looking out over the mangroves in the morning and at night.

Relaxing waterfront getaway

The property was exactly as described. Great waterfront location in a quiet neighborhood. The home was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable, and the screened patio was perfect for enjoying the views. We made use of the fire pit and kayaks and had a memorable weekend away. Thanks!

Great stay near Homassaso Spr

We had a lovely time at this VRB property. It is located right on the water with a dock and kayaks. My daughters enjoyed the kayaks and my grandchildren enjoyed playing in the large yard. One of the highlights was sitting around the fire pit, making S'Mores. The house was spotless and there was everything you need for a nice stay. I highly recommend this home.

Perfect Fit

A few friends and my self enter a fly fishing tournament annually that we enjoy in Ozello, this will now be our returning VRBO! The Host Shondra had us all set up with under home storage, a small boat launch perfect for our skiffs many restful spaces both indoors and outdoors to wind down after battling low tide conditions in the estuary. We stopped for drinks at Pecks Thursday night and dinner at the Island Outpost. Both restaurants were “our speed” with the atmosphere and food along with a welcoming staff at both locations. The neighbor on the left of the property is a Captain with many stories and “time on the water” experience to help with navigation as well as patterns to dissect the fishery. The neighbor on the right offered many pastime stories of historical natural disasters that the area had experienced to remind you that is Old Florida. Both parties made this a more than hospitable stay for my friends and I. Thank you again, Shondra.

Clean, comfortable and relaxing property!

We so enjoyed our stay here. The rental was clean and quiet with beautiful views of so many sea birds! Kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable, can't wait to book again in the future!

Nice gulf backwater getaway

Property was clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of water and small dock. Nice secluded part of the backwater area between the Chrystal and Homosassa rivers. Neighbors are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Owner was great also. About 1 1/2 mile via boat to get into the gulf but not for novice boater or someone with larger boat. Many hidden oyster beds and rocks and very low water depending on tide. If your skiff can handle very skinny water you might do OK but talk to neighbors regarding navigation before going out or you will definitely bottom out. Use boat ramp down the road to get boat in water.
