By far one of the worst hotel experiences. With new guidelines in place because of Covid, this hotel went the opposite route. Upon check in, no hotel staff had masks on (and this was all the employees I encountered throughout my one night stay) though it was a requirement for all guests. Once in the room, the tv didn't work/turn on. We called the front desk but no one answered. As we left for the evening for dinner, we didn't see anyone at the front desk to notify about this issue. When we returned we asked about the hotel shuttles to the airport. We got a vague answer about every half hour. Little did we know it was based on demand and did not run regularly. *We almost missed the shuttle as it was ever hour. The final straw was when we wanted to check out in the morning and there was no one to be found. *Again called down to the front desk before heading down but no answer after several calls. When at the desk I knocked on the doors around the desk to get help and eventually found a housekeeper to notify the front desk employee. Very unfortunate given the circumstances.

The property is undergoing renovations which caused some problems, but the staff worked hard to rectify problems. The free breakfast was better than most. The free airport shuttle was great.

We stay at Hampton Inns pretty regular. So, everything was on point. Everyone was courteous and the room was clean and fresh.

We arrived at 2:00 a.m. and were a bit tired. The front desk clerk was gruff and made us wait a couple of minutes to check in until he had finished an online reservation. Like I said, we were tired, so maybe it was us and not him. We went down to breakfast at 9:30 (they were to stop serving at 10:00). Eggs were gone, and there were several people waiting in line for waffles. So we left. Room was damp and couldn't be dried out without running the A/C at a very low temperature. But since I t is usually humid in the Greater Cincinnati area in mid-August, this may not be something the hotel can fix. (Although, an exhaust fan in the bathroom MAY have helped.) Place was clean, but walking into the bathroom and seeing the seat up and black flecks of something in the toilet water when we arrived was unusual. The shower was great! Good water pressure and adjustable, removable shower head. We will stay there again to see if we have a different experience in the winter.
