Compact room but nice and clean and comfortable. Well located in centre of town with secure parking (€6pn). Downsides were: Noise from road, towels like sandpaper. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities.

We loved this hotel in the center of Compiegne, France, one hour north of Paris. The room was modernized and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The person at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. We loved this town. It is charming and walkable. Excellent restaurants, especially Bistro du Terroir, which was recommended by the hotel. Best restaurant ever!!! Don't miss the WW1 war memorial 6 km east of town. It is a very important monument and and interesting.

Closed windows offered complete quiet - open windows allowed you to experience a bustling, thriving town. No tea & coffee making facilities. Lift available. Excellent location, with pay parking opposite, or to the rear (book parking to rear via the hotel). Bang on the edge of the area offering great shopping and restaurants. Helpful gentleman at reception, checked our breakfast preferences including how we liked our boiled egg cooked, when we checked in!
