After a long drive and needing to use the bathroom, both lobby restrooms were out of order. After checking in and going to my room the main light did not work, the fridge door did not close all the way and was warm and the shelf where you can hang stuff was coming out of the wall and the room reeked of smoke. Requested new room and the clerk took me to another room but advised the shower was "difficult" to work. He messed with it for a few minutes and we then decided to move the fridge from that room to my original room where i would put up with the smell and non working light. When I went to plug it in I noticed the third prong in the plug was broken which would be a fire hazard so I declined putting it in my room. The clerk then took me to a 3rd room that was good enough although the water pressure in the shower was practically non existent and if you turned the knob 1/8 of an inch to far either way you either got scalded or frozen. There also was mold in the seams of the tub surround and the ice machine was not working. The general state of the motel seemed to be sad and in disrepair as if no one cared enough to get things fixed. While in the lobby another customer came in to ask for a different fridge as well as theirs had mold in it. I chose Motel 6 based on the website pictures of the room and description in general and was highly, highly disappointed. The price was not worth the frustration and aggravation as the issues made me late for my daughters wedding rehearsal.
