Bad customer service

We got there early (noon) and wanted to check in but was told there would be a $55.00 charge. I’ve stayed at hotels all over and arrived early and left late and have never been charged. I hadn’t slept, my flight was at 5 am and a little courtesy would have been nice. I left and came back. When I checked in, I was told if I checked out late there would be a charge. I hadn’t stayed at a La Quinta in a while and I won’t ever again. I’ll take my money elsewhere where they appreciate my business.

The pool had a white film on the surface. The house keeping was not so good. The toiletries were not replenished daily, the beds were made poorly. At 6am on both days of my stay there were very loud noises that broke my sleep. Then there were doors were being slammed very hard until 11am. I didn’t have a good stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

First and LAST time staying at La Quinta. Discovered crusted residue on bedskirts; sheets where thinning and old; room had musty smell mixed with smell of cleaning products (We had a pet and I think they put us in a “pet” room and tried covering up smells); carpet was dingy and looked unclean; room was poorly lit.

The front desk employee was exceedingly pleasant and did his best to make up for the incompetence of Expedia customer service. Unfortunately, the room felt like the Amazon swamp. The air conditioning was non-existent. Lousy overall stay on a night when the power went out in Columbus and other hotels were ill-prepared. Just awful.

Really needs updated in some areas. It smelled like mold. Also when went down for breakfast there was nothing left not even milk for the cereal. Stayed 2 nights set out my dirty towles and rags and never got any more had to go down and ask way later in the day. The pool door had to be unlocked by a worker every time. Also never had towels in the pool area. Housekeeping came knocking on the door at 1015 when checkout was at 11.

We stayed in a room on the first floor that unfortunately did not meet our expectations. The cleanliness was lacking, and a persistent damp smell made the atmosphere uncomfortable. A used towel was still hanging on the back of the bathroom door, which raised doubts about the thoroughness of the cleaning. Additionally, the insulation was poor; we could hear noise from the bathrooms in neighboring rooms, as well as Sound of TV and footsteps from upstairs, which disturbed our peace during the midnight hours.

Horrible, will never come back here again

Horrible, kids and parents running up and down the hall all hours of the night, broken chair, door does not close all the way when shut, had to barricade the door for it to stay closed, it rained and water came in the entire window and went everywhere, they gave me 2 towels to care of it until housekeeping came in the morning, the smell in the hallway smell like a backed up sewer, when I checked out about a refund or anything the front desk said the rain was a act of god, no the foundation there is horrible soon as you walk in and it’s only 1 elevator, and the side doors to get out inside of using the front entrance, you cannot get out the door, that’s a safety hazard, what if a fire was going on and everyone tried to get out but is trapped because you can’t even open the door from the inside !!! Only good was the nice guy who checked me in when I arrived and that is it, everything else disgusting and needs to be shut down, it was also rust and spider webs everywhere thank god I was only here for one night and could barely sleep, wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. And if they let me upload videos of the noise and the rain coming in a would but they don’t !!
