Thank you for staying at the Lofts Hotel and sharing your experience. We are glad that you had a pleasant stay. The Crowne Plaza is our sister property and I can assure you that they take preventative maintenance very seriously. Any evidence/complaint of bug activities are addressed accordingly by getting a professional in immediately to investigate thoroughly. Once again, thank you for your feedback and we hope to see you soon! Kobbie Larbi Operations Manager

Excellent Place!

Cons: The only very minor thing is that once the restaurant was closed, there was no place inside the hotel to purchase/find a bottle of water or soft drink
The rooms are huge. Wait, "huge" is really not adequate enough to describe the spaciousness of the room. With a very large living room and equally large bedroom, combined with 20 foot ceilings, I felt like I could spread out, and I did! The bathroom was elegantly appointed with gorgeous tile and fixtures, plus luxurious towels, sheets and toiletries. I have stayed all over the world and really this is a top place, unexpectedly found in Columbus OH. Really, just WOW!

PM Stomp

Pros: Location
Cons: Between-floor insulation; customer relations in-service for staff.
After checking into The Lofts on a recent Saturday afternoon and being welcomed by a totally indifferent staff, we enjoyed a delightful day of shopping Short North and dinner at The Pearl. Returning to our 4th floor room at 9:30 p.m., we began to settle in for the night...and the stomping overhead began. Initially, we thought a kid was jumping off the beds in the room directly above us, but soon heard music and realized the stomps were rhythmic. I'm talking stomps that actually shook the walls of a 100-year-old brick building. Called the front desk who assured us they'd take care of it. Stomping continued for another 15 minutes. Another call to front desk who said they'd send security up to address the issue. Stomping soon stopped - for about five minutes and resumed with increased ferocity. Called front desk a third time at 10:15 and the manager came to our room during a brief respite in the overhead racket, so he - of course - didn't hear it initially. Fortunately (I guess), it started up again while we were describing it to him, so he visited our overhead neighbors and it soon ceased for the night - approximately 45 minutes after our initial call. Same overhead occupants began heavy-footed pacing around 4 a.m., which we solved by jamming our pillows over our heads. No offer of recompense from management - other than a gratis breakfast at Max & Irma's - for our discomfort and inconvenience. If you opt for The Lofts, pack a seismograph and earplugs.

It is certainly not our intent to inconvenience our valued customers, but to instead provide good value, comfortable, clean and friendly accommodations. Your feedback is of great importance to us and allows us to monitor and improve our service continually. Although we were not able to exceed or at least be at par with your expectations, we hope you give us a chance to change your perception of our hotel. Awesome industrial/modern stay

The lofts were great start to finish. Very cool industrial style loft with modern touch. Easy check in. Great A/C to escape the heat and creates nice a white noise. Very comfy king bed. Cool bathroom tones & tiles. Late checkout. Close to Short North, great food/drinks! If you're looking for all inclusive this isn't your spot, but if you're not a stickler and want a cool spot to stay, then it is. If I'm ever back in Columbus, I'll be staying here!

Fantastic experience!

Pros: Upscale urban feel at a very reasonable price.
Cons: The entrance is kind of tucked away across from the valet parking for the Crown next door, so a bit non-descript.
Location: Across the street from the Columbus Convention Center, down the street from Nationwide Arena, many restaurants, shops, bars, clubs, etc.
Our room was large, comfortable, and had fantastic ambiance with an industrial feel. Painted brick walls, exposed ductwork, etc. contributed to an upscale urban feel. The hotel is small and quiet, but connected to the Crown Plaza, and guests are able to use the amenities at the Crown. Beds were very comfortable and the cleanliness was top notch. Will definitely return!

Nice hotel and great location

Pros: The room size
Cons: Lobby could be more inviting.
Location: The Arena District is right there. It only took me about 4 minutes to walk there. Plenty of restaurants around.
This hotel is a very nice hotel. The building is an older building but the rooms are great. The best thing about the room is the amount of space. The lobby doesn't consist of much. The location is great. It is within a 4-5 minute walk to the Arena District.

Enjoyed feeling pampered in interesting surroundings

My husband & I were seeing our favorite band for our 10th wedding anniversary and I had a hard time finding an available downtown hotel. We had walked by The Lofts before, while staying at nearby hotels, but didn't know what to expect. We loved the loft feel, the large room, the comfortable bed, the 1920's look of the bathroom, the exposed beams & duct work, etc. They even have shuttle service and shuttled us to the concert venue. We ordered breakfast for the next morning and it was delicious.
