Weekend Away Room Review

Checking in was for the most part easy, since I was already PIF. However the front desk attendant did not request License Plate Info at time of check in. I was informed by my friend after getting to our room there was a display plaque on the other side of the front counter facing the other way that stated you were required to provide that info. If not, you’re at risk of vehicle being towed at your expense. Would more respectful of the patrons to be asked for this information at time of check in by the front desk associate. There was no papers asked to be filled in. Upon entering the room, there was a slight oder. Not sure at the time but determined it was most likely a mild mold smell. There was mold around the top of the shower. Definitely not a routine clean by the staff. Other than the mold, the room itself was good and comfortable. Could hear when people, probably children, were running around upstairs on the 2nd level. But it wasn’t often during our stay. The continental breakfast… oh man. Day one was a hang out for the questionable guests. Falling asleep while standing at the food counter…in their seats. Not a place we wanted to sit and have breakfast. Food was attempted but cold and wasn’t very good.

The first room we were given had a mini-fridge leaking water all over the ground with a wet towel on the ground trying to soak up the liquid. And the sink dirty with what looked like pieces of the ceiling. We had no issue switching rooms. And nothing of note happened until the morning when we were woken up by the fire alarm going off in response to nothing. When the front desk was told they replaced the batteries. Cool. It wasn’t the low battery beep but it was something. The very next morning, at 3 am, the fire alarm went off again. And then again at 4 am. At which point we just took out the batteries and went back to sleep. When checking out they just said it was probably low batteries. We stayed three nights and yet the cleaning staff never came to tidy up. And the free shampoo and such were half filled. It’s a reasonably priced place. The staff were friendly but I got the feeling they were understaffed to the point of being inefficient.

HOTEL WAS IN TERRIBLE CONDITION! We had no room service the entire week, no clean towels, we had to ask for them everyday, we had a water leak on the ceiling, the elevater was not working, the ice machine was not working, no hair dryer in room, laundry mat not working, cockroaches in room, no clean linens all week. WILL NOT BE RESERVING A ROOM WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Two days stay

The property is in need of a major update. parking lot was full of holes. the door to our room was falling apart, there was a garbage bin left by the side of our room the whole time we were there. When i asked for a few extra towels i was told they could not give any extra because they were short on towels. Speaking of towels, our room was next to the laundry room and they left the dryers on all night which produced a constant hum. rooms need updating but were acceptable. i am handicapped and was told the room had a shower bench, it did not. Breakfast was just ok, obvious they supplied by a local walmart. On the upside the rooms were clean and a big plus no bugs, did not see any roaches, ants. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the ladies were very sweet and kind. i guess for the money per night it was acceptable. repaving the parking lot would help a lot.

It was awful. Now granted I just needed a quick stay so I expected the BARE MINIMUM. The sheets on both beds were FILTH covered in grease or blood. The manager isn’t professional at all, he was mad I asked for the sheets to be cleaned on both beds and only changed one bed. After I asked for a refund he was even more mad and very disrespectful. I should’ve slapped ts outta him. I’m mad I don’t have a picture, that was the only lesson learned. I left and found a perfect stay, very cozy
