The staff was rude and hostile. The room had bed bugs so we checked out the same night and was told to wait until management arrived in the morning to get a refund. We arrived in the morning and told the manager about the bed bugs and he stated he was going to go check the room out and see if he sees them and we tried to show him a video but he disregarded that and pretty much blew us off. He stated he didn’t see any bed bugs so we called north Randall police. We showed them the video and time stamps on our iPhone which pulled up that we were at that location. They blatantly lied to the police at first wanting us to prove we were there and stating there were no bed bugs and we showed police the video of the bed bugs crawling around on the bed sheets. The police showed the manager TJ and he told them he just wanted to see proof of the bed bugs. Mind you were tried to show him before calling the police but he just walked away and was extremely hostile. We booked through Expedia and all they had to do was tell Expedia that they approve the refund. We literally had to call the police in order to get our money back even though we didn’t stay there for longer than a hour in that room. We checked out and booked a room elsewhere because the front office last night told us we can either check out or stay there and there’s no way we were staying there with our two year old so she can get bit by bed bugs.
