The room was dated and dingy looking. Lamp in room was broken, toilet seat loose, wall paper in bathroom was peeling and dirty. We requested room to be cleaned and no one showed up. Staff was very pleasant. Oh elevator for parking lot out of service.

Reception staff were fabulous! Entrance and elevators were clean. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The shower had good pressure. Cons: the light above the sink didn’t work. The toilet was the loudest I’ve ever heard! Not ideal late at night or early in the morning.

Terrible experience

Elevator in parking garage was not working the entire stay yet they charged full $30 rate for parking. Bfast buffet was not good quality. No omeletes on Sunday...they said because of a sporting event. Food options at sports bar on Sunday were 4 items. Carpet has tons of stains throughout. Windows dirty. Wall paper in bathroom discolored and gross. Bed was uncomfortable. Don't stay here if you can avoid it.

It was a very bad experience. I was on the 7th floor and there was a really nasty smell as soon as you step out of the elevator. Bed sheets weren’t clean and had stains and one of the beds was squeaking every time I move.

Extremely unclean. The lobby was the cleanest and that’s saying a lot considers the 100’s to 1000’s of bugs in and outside the hotel. I understand it’s by a lake and this is the time of year but there is always something that can be done. The elevator from the garage was broken but after looking at more reviews apparently it’s been broken for a while now! The bathroom in the room was soooo filthy. Words can’t explain how disappointed we were with our rooms.

The hotel needs some serious updating. The AC unit in our room was incredibly loud, and the wall paper was peeling from where patchwork had been done. The entire place could use a facelift and deep clean

Terrible Hotel - Run down and outdated!

We stayed here, because we were going to the Browns pre-season game on 8/23/2025. Usually DoubleTree hotels are really nice, but this one was terrible, inside and out. The parking garage had garbage thrown all over. The parking garage elevator was not working and we had to park on the 3rd floor and carry our luggage down the stairs and they were charging $30 a night for parking. Our room was horrible. It smelled wet and like mildew. The lights in the room were dim and the toilet water continuously ran after flushing. We had to tell them to change our room, because it was unacceptable. The second room was better. The whole hotel is outdated, rooms, hallways and the garage. The only thing good about this hotel were the daily warm cookies that they offered. I do want to give a BIG thank you to Brandon for helping us out and making an effort to make the changes for our room. Will we stay here again….NO!
