I would definitely never stay here again and I would never recommend this place to anyone. It was very dirty. The bathtub did not drain. It had a smell like burning plastic. Dirty socks in the ice machine room. Tiny pillows on the beds. I asked for a refund for the second night of my stay to get out of the hotel but I could not be refunded any money so we stayed a second night. Never again. I’ll drive further next time.

The staff was friendly, with the exception of the cleaning staff. Also, the lobby has a view to the pool. The windows to the pool area were filthy and the pool was a terrible green color, as if it wasn’t properly maintained. I then get to my room and it is almost 80 degrees, and I had to turn the air on the lowest setting and it still wasn’t a comfortable temperature. The couch in the room appeared dirty and when I tried to take a shower, there was a used wash cloth in it. It felt dirty the entire time. They need to maintain the rooms and the lobby area better. They also offer breakfast, but if they can’t maintain the room and the lobby, why would I risk my health to eat food there. Very bad experience, other than the front desk.

Bad business practice, room needs updates/cleaning

At check-in the clerk asked for a credit card to cover “incidentals”, only to find out later that they charged $150 to my card as a “deposit”. The $150 deposit was never mentioned to me & I had already paid in full for my room through the hotels.com app. Still waiting for a refund. The room needed some maintenance & better cleaning. The bathtub faucet was not connected so you had to hold it still with one hand & pull the button up with the other to turn the shower on. There were long hairs stuck on the shower wall. One of the headboards was covered in a greasy film right above the pillows. (Thank goodness I had Clorox wipes with me to clean it off!) The wardrobe had a disgusting smell inside. The lid to the ice bucket had food stuck to the inside.
The faucet was not attached to the tub, so you had to hold it still with one hand while you pulled the button up to turn the shower on.
The headboard was covered in a greasy film.

The people staying above us soundedblike elephants. There was no sound insulation at all. Every slamming door or yelling person or stomping upstairs neighbor shook the whole room. Breakfast is super lame. Not alot of variety and what they do have is just like off brand stuff. Room wasnt cheap so not what ibwas expecting. Also watvhing the attendant shove the trash down with gloves on and then repostion the bowl of apples with the same gloves was a special treat. Definitely will be choosing another avenue next time. Though im not sure there are any better optionsnin the area. All the hotels seem to need abbit of an update

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. We liked that the hotel was close to Kings Island. Our first room was not clean. As we walked into the room, it was very hot and muggy. The bed spread had a questionable red stain on it. The wall was disgusting and the couch cushion was stained as well. The front desk was very nice and accommodating when we asked for a new room. They had us in a new room right away and immediately started servicing our previous room. The only issue we had with the new room was that one of the wash cloths had some weird black stain on it. Otherwise, we all had a hot shower and slept great after a long day at Kings Island. I can’t comment on breakfast because, we slept through it. Check out was quick and seamless.

Comfort Inn was close to everything that we needed even found Wolf Lodge that did not know where was at the rooms were clean. They were the continental breakfast. Everyone there is courteous planning on staying there again.

I liked the customer service, breakfast was good, and the fact we were on the first floor and the room was large. Things we were not happy with; there was medication/pills left on the counter. I have 2 children and had I not gone through the room before one of my small children could have been hurt but finding medication on the counter. The room smelled musty. The pool was not clean, water looked mucky. The plugs in the lamp didn’t work so I have to pull out the table between the beds to use the wall plug and there was trash all over back there. Overall not a terrible experience but definitely cleaning needs to be addressed.

The pictures on the internet made the place look better than it was. We were supposed to stay two nights but only chose to stay one night. It was loud outside our room and throughout the night there was a sound that made it sound as if someone was trying to open the door. At one point the noises were so loud my child asked if our door was open.

We chose this hotel as a last minute place to sleep when we decided to do two days at Kings. Check-in/check-out was fast. When we get to out rooms both the carpet and flooring felt sticky. The hooks and toilet paper holder in the bathroom were very loose and didnt hold anything. My kids were happy to have an indoor pool. However the pool had a wierd cloudy green tint to it. Never seen an indoor pool look like that. Our rooms had two bed but my son decided to sleep on the couch so his phone wouldn't bother us. Big mistake. He woke up with bug bites all around his cheast, neck and arms. A dozen or so bites in total. Breakfast was okay at best. The hotel just seems rundown and worn-out.
