Solid stop over hotel in Christcurch for your road trip. We actually stayed four nights while we drove out into the surrounding areas to go sightseeing. Our room had a jet tub and great working AC. The daily housekeepers were great. They even washed out dishes for us and we honestly felt bad about it. We had a bit of an issue one night with some very noisy guests partying in the cottages behind us. We called the front desk and they said they'd go to talk to them but they never did quiet down. Thankfully we popped the earplugs in and were able to get to sleep. Solid place. We'd stay here again.

Great location, handy walking distance to CBD. Very clean and spacious rooms. Restaurant had good meal options and attentive staff, however dining room and bar area is somewhat cluttered with memorabilia. Highly recommend.
