"We were not allowed to have our own drinks at the beach. We sat on the beach to the side of the resort and the staff kept staring at us and heading our way to spy on us. "Hotel was amazing if you’re looking for a vacation away from the world. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Island is very secluded. The restaurants right outside the hotel were delectable. Staff and locals were very nice. Not much attractions around besides the beautiful beach. Only issues that occurred during my stay: Day 1, lights went out but they were able to get them back on with 20 minutes. The next day, there was no hot water to shower to I embraced the cold water that night which was not as bad since the weather is very hot. I recommend regardless. Also I HIGHLY advise buying some mosquito gel at the corner store because they’re crazy during the night."
