The property is well maintained and equipped with everything you need, very comfortable and quiet, own parking so very easy to come and go, easy access to many attractions, lovely host and a beautiful cake on arrival, would definitely recommend and would stay again

We booked this property for a few nights and received exceptional care from Mark the host who was warm, welcoming and accomodating with great suggestions of where we could visit nearby. The value for money is excellent as there are large rooms with all the comforts of a home. We will most definitely be staying here again within the next year and hope to exlpore more of the Cotswolds from this excellent, central location.

Birthday treat

Lovely stay. Property just as described. Mark went above and beyond. He was so helpful. Directed us to the nearest supermarket and pub. Lovely area. The jacuzzi was so relaxing after a hike around castle combe. We would definitely return. Can't fault our stay at all.

Mark was a great host, welcoming and very helpful. Very clean quite bungalow with great facilities and a jacuzzi at a bargain price. Highly recommended for a peaceful retreat.

Quiet countryside weekend

The property was well kept with everything being simple and easy to use. It had everything we could have possibly required, from the bathroom to a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a washing machine and line if required for longer stays. The whole place was very comfortable and in a very beautiful and convenient location with places such as Castle Combe, Bath and Longleat not far away if you wish to go out for the day. Mark and Susan were very accommodating and willing to help if we had any queries during our stay. Absolutely fab place, I recommend and we would stay again!

Great location, great retreat, great hosts

Mark and Sue were wonderful, super helpful and had great knowledge of the area as well as great suggestions for places to see and go to. The location was perfect for tripping around and right in the middle of the Cotswalds. The retreat had everything that we needed, it was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed being able to sit on a lounge and not just be in a room like a hotel. Having a full little kitchen as well as a washing machine was awesome to allow us to do some washing and even have a meal or 2 at home instead of eating out all the time, having a parking space right at the door was excellent since we had large bags as we are away for 8 weeks, We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends and family if travelling to the area, Cheers from Australia

Perfect stay

Our stay at this lovely property was perfect! From the location, to the owner Mark, who greeted us on arrival. The whole thing was great! We had a fantastic time in bath for the day and a couple of days around the Cotswold sight seeing. Really was just perfect!

Quiet and peaceful

Had a lovely weekend at the property which was clean and comfortable, owner was very kind and thoughtful gave us a few tips on where to visit in the area (which we did) left milk tea and coffee in case we had forgotten anything which is a big help if you’ve travelled late ,property was kept warm and comfortable all the time we were there cannot fault this property in any way or Mark the owner ,would and will recommend this to friends and family without hesitation. Cotswold Retreat

Such a clean property and ideal for couples who wish for a romantic getaway. Beautiful tranquil surroundings. There is plenty to explore or just have a lazy day in and relax in the jacuzzi. Mark and Sue are the perfect hosts, Mark is a true gent and very attentive and informative, gave us all the information we needed and left us to it. He would always be available if we needed anything. So thankyou Mark and Sue. We will visit again in the near future and we will recommend this property to all friends and family. A little break away

Mark was so very welcoming. The place was so clean, not a spot of dirt anywhere. A lovely little welcome note and some lovely sweets. Would definitely recommend. All the big chain hotels, don't have anything on this property. It's just lovely. The area is so quiet and peaceful. And Mark even gave us some tips on here to go and where to eat. Which have to was also fantastic. I cant put into words so much Mark and Sue must put into this property, inside and out. I definitely intend to go back. I could not find 1 bad point at all.
