This is our new go-to in the city. Great location, very comfortable beds. Pillows are unusually small, but they brought more quickly. Large bathroom with double sinks. Breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful. Shout out to Frank during our very late check-in. Very friendly, funny and was quick with anything we needed. Hotels need to staff more people like him.

Loved the hotel and ambiance. My stay was truly amazing. I just wish they would’ve had an ice machine and microwaves inside the hotel . It would’ve been 5 stars if they had microwaves and ice. Also the receptionist attitude wasn’t the best. I didn’t feel very welcomed and seemed like she was just trying to rush me away.

To recessed lights in the ceiling near the windows the windows would not shut off. We tried every little light switch in the room eight ways to Sunday and could not get those recessed lights off. The only way to shut them off was to take the card out to stop the electricity in the room. But then you are not able to charge phones, I use a white noise machine, cpap, or leave a light on in the bathroom. We talked to the Hotel customer service after having a sleepless night for my husband. I covered my eyes for the night but he was not able to sleep. She offered us an hour later checkout which we chose but he didn't sleep any longer. We had plans to visit a museum in the morning before we caught the train that afternoon but he was too tired from a sleepless night to Avail himself of the opportunities we came to Chicago for. I have no idea what the problem was with the light not turning off we scoured the room for a switch looked in every unlikely place but could not find a way to shut the lights off. If the only solution to shutting off the lights is to pull the card so there's no electricity then I don't know how that hotel would work for people with CPAP machines or breast pumps or anything that need electricity during the night. It was a special trip as a Christmas gift to my husband but the lack of sleep put a huge damper on the trip. We weren't given any explanation for why the lights wouldn't go off. We were told an electrician would check the room after we checked out.

The stay was amazing. The staff was very professional and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. The rooms were spotless and modern. There isn’t on site parking and valet got expensive after a couple of day, but other than that— this is the perfect hotel.
