Relaxing Lake Retreat -- Family Fun on Quiet Cove

Perfect get-away to spend time with friends and family; check out local restaurants, cafes, and wineries; and relax in a well-appointed home. Enjoy ultimate relaxation and family fun! Stroll down the yard on a shaded stone path for a lakefront picnic or enjoy your own private dock suitable for canoeing, kayaking (4 adult sit-in and 2 youth/child sit-on kayaks on site), paddle boarding (2 available) and fishing (rods provided). Head down to the private boat slip and ramp, and take your boat to explore the full reach of Lake Anna. Dine on the large deck with a propane grill, daydream in the hammock, or star-gaze at the smokeless fire pit.

Kitchen: Prepare a meal in the stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, etc.). Large pantry space with full-sized freezer to load up on groceries. Complimentary cookies, coffee, and tea provided.

Dining Area: Dine inside with a table set for six to eight and four stools at the breakfast bar.

Living Room: Plenty of comfortable seating to relax and unwind, play boardgames, or watch a movie on the streaming enabled television.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Linens and towels provided. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and attached bathroom with shower and soaking tub. Bedroom 2 has queen sized bed and desk area. Bedroom 3 has two bunkbeds with 4 twin sized beds. Bedroom 2 and 3 share a bathroom with shower/bath combo. Bedroom 4 is upstairs and has a tv and dvd player, and an attached bathroom with shower. There is a rollaway cot and Pack-and-play available for flexible sleeping arrangements. High-quality mattresses and pillows throughout and ample closet space in each room.

Beautiful House, Looking for Better Location
It was two families, with small children that stayed for a week. We were blown away by the house and all the extras that were included. It is very clean and they have thought of it all. We felt very relaxed and at home. Overall, we had a great week. The location to a grocery store and the state park was good. We just prefer a location with less stagnant water. This house is more off a small finger of the lake with very shallow water and not a lot of movement. Kayaking and Paddleboarding was enjoyable. However, my children LOVE the water. They want to run and jump in, which, this location left something to be desired.

Relaxing lake retreat
This house is in excellent condition, very clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The bedroom set up easily allowed for two families to enjoy the house together - and the cousins loved bunking together in one room! We enjoyed exploring on the kayaks from the private dock and made use of the boat slip at the community dock down the street. Dining options in the area are limited, but Jenny provided some good restaurant recommendations. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable week!

Wonderful property, amenities fun!
The house and surrounding yard/dock were great! We enjoyed the waterfront area and spent time kayaking and just "sitting on the dock." The firepit provided a focal point for an evening of s'mores. The house had everything we needed, including a waffle maker!! Property is as described and lovely.

Excellent place for a quite gateway weekend
The house was spacious, very clean, well decorated and very welcoming! Jenny was amasing! She was responding to our questions at any point of time and providing detailed explanations! She definitely helped us having the best time in her place and enjoying the lake Anna (it was first time for us to visit that area). We enjoyed kayaking, the firepit, the restaurants that Jenny suggested and every bit of the house warming atmosphere! We highly recommend this property!

Amazing 2-Family Getaway!
We had such a wonderful weekend at Jennifer's house- cannot recommend highly enough. We came with 4 adults and 7 children 6&under and Jennifer was thoughtful and generous in setting us up for a great weekend. Due to age of our kids (only 1 independent swimmer) and weather we mostly explored surrounding areas rather than lake - beautiful hiking and local attractions. Jennifer had a very helpful welcome guide with restaurants etc. The house is beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed and so many thoughtful touches--unexpected supplies, gear, games, etc. It really felt more like we were staying with a friend than at a rental. This house is amazing for kids. Back patio with seating, big lawn in front and back to run run run/play games, bunk beds, and floor space for pack and plays (we had 3 in use bw two families!). Plenty of space for everyone to have quiet time/privacy when needed, bathroom still accessible when kids asleep, etc. Stairs closed off by a door, so helpful with crawling baby. We felt so thankful to find this spot and have such a special weekend reuniting with friends.

Great Family getaway
My family had a wonderful time at this house. Jenny was very quick to respond and was very accommodating. Great house and property for kids (high chair, stool, and lots of room outside to run around). The pictures do not do the property justice. The inside is very clean and well decorated. The house is on a nice quiet street so you don't have to worry so much with little ones running around. Kayaks onsite were a big hit. Definitely would come again and recommend for families looking for a quiet getaway.
