Room AC/Heater is always on. That is a deal breaker for me. This was my first time staying at a Tru hotel. The place was cleans, the staff friendly and price was good. The gym was nice and everything worked. The noise from the AC/Heater was not expected and although it was not "loud", it was annoying for me. No Microwave in room but you can use the one in the lobby.

The staff support was almost non existent. All of the trash in the lobby and breakfast area was overflowing. When we arrived around five there was no regular coffee. The decafe was cold and not drinkable. The hot water for tea was cold. At breakfast the two working didn't know how to run the pancake machine and it was poorly supplied with spoons, knives and forks. The room was okay.

There was only one very young staff member overnight for the entire hotel and no security guard. The people in the room above us were so loud and we couldn’t sleep. No matter how many times the staff called the room and asked them to stop, it didn’t and it even got worse. It went on until after 3am. Then before 7am the fire alarm started to go off without any explanation. Breakfast was not good, the toaster was broken and so was the pancake maker. The eggs were watery, the coffee had grounds in it, and the trash cans were all filled to the brim so there was trash everywhere. I haven’t experienced anything like this at any other hotel stay.
