An Amazing Getaway

Where do i start. Communication with Jessica was fabulous, she was always available and responded very quickly. Checkin was so easy. Now the house, let me tell you this house was on point. The way they set this cottage up was amazing, its located in a perfect coce that provided peace, quietness and tranquility. It had all the necessities for enjoyment. Kayaks, firepit, swings, fishing dock; (I would suggest a canoe or pond fishing boat added), swimming and thats just on the outside. The inside was just as elaborate with the gameroom, tvs in all the rooms, and board games. Kitchen setup was spot on. Loved the coffee and tea. Located near eateries in both directions, we couldnt ask for much more. As soon as we stepped on the property, we wanted to find some funds to buy it from Jessica and Adam. This was by far one of the best home we've had in a while. It doesn't matter if its just two of you or the whole family, this place is perfect. Our next visit to the area, might include renting a boat to see more of the lake.Can't stress enough how much we loved our stay and will definitely be adding the home to our favorites.Clayton and ReginaWaverly, GA

Quiet Cove

Perfect place for our family gathering. Quiet, fishing off the docks or kayaking during the day, eating dinner at the large table on the deck or sitting around fire pit at end of the day. Game room and the little touches made our so very enjoyable.

Perfection!

Everything about the house was absolute perfection! We thoroughly enjoyed being on the water, and utilized the fire pit and kayaks during out stay during a long weekend in April. Our family of 6 had more than enough room and made some wonderful meals in the fully stocked kitchen - not to mention making many wonderful memories! Easy check-in and check-out - simply wonderful in every way!

The house is just as nice in person as it looks online. Very well stocked kitchen - everything accounted for. Bed was very comfortable. Back porch with rocking chairs, porch swing, and dining area perfect for mornings and sunsets. Beautiful area at the end of a cove for added privacy. No question, would not hesitate to book this house again.

Beautiful and Peaceful

This is our second year of staying here and we LOVE it! Beautiful property with all of the touches. It is in a cove with very little noise, which allowed for peaceful mornings drinking coffee on the porch enjoying the view. Thank you Jessica and Adam!!

Wonderful Stay!

Our stay at Lake Escape Cottage on the Cove was wonderful. The property owners truly thought of everything that made our stay enjoyable and effortless. The cottage was just as described and very clean. There was so much available on site for our kids. Lake toys were plentiful and the game room came in handy when we were stuck inside due to rain. The water near the dock was more shallow than others places on the lake, however we were able to put our boat on the side with the ladder and everything worked out ok. We would definitely stay at a Lake Escape property again!

Amazing family stay

This place had everything! We had an amazing stay. It was very clean and updated. Well stocked with anything we needed. The game room was stellar! Nice location tucked away in a quiet cove with a huge yard for fun activities. We would absolutely consider this house again!

Perfect getaway!

We loved that this beautiful home had everything. It was well-stocked, quiet and secluded, and full of fun activities for all ages. We used the cornhole boards, lake toys (kayaks, noodles, etc), fire pit, grill, and more. We really took advantage of the whole property! You can tell the home was not built and renovated to be just a rental — it was renovated like a real home, high quality. Beds were very comfortable, amenities were high-quality and plentiful, and common areas had lots of comfy seating.

Exactly what we needed

This was perfect! And absolutely beautiful!! There were a few things, but NOTHING that couldn’t be overlooked: the skee ball was broken, both fishing poles were broken, construction going on across the lake, and spiders and wasps!! The one thing I would suggest is a good cleaning of the lawn furniture next to the lake. They were covered in spider webs and some bird droppings. But AGAIN, it was amazing!! And VERY accommodating - they responded quickly! Will definitely stay again!

Great Property - Great Hosts

When we arrived, the property was even nicer than in the pictures. Everything is nicely updated throughout, and had all the necessary amenities for our stay. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, and responded promptly to all of our inquiries / requests! The garage game room was great for the kids, and even better for the adults when the kids went to bed! The outdoor amenities were plentiful as well. We all enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks, and the fire pit and swing were great too. If you’re going to Lake Norman, rent this house! 10/10.

Relaxing place to decompress!

We were a group of 3 couples that decided to take a few days after a work conference to relax. We had everything we needed there - including a friendly duck that jumped on the back of the SUP! We took advantage of all that we could fit in: kayaks & SUPs, firepit, everything we needed to cook a meal, eating dinner on the porch (ceiling fans kept it comfortable), and the games. The coffee was much appreciated. The location was quiet but still close the grocery store. Would definitely rebook if back in the area!

Lake place

Was a great place, near Davidson and Mooresville so escaping Charlotte traffic. Was surprisingly a lot of traffic but didn't have any issues getting into places to eat. Lovely stay right on the lake.

This property was lovely. It was exactly as listed. I thought that the owners made it a goal to provide anything you could think of, so that your vacation could just be focused on relaxation and enjoyment…very generous and thoughtful in many details! I’m so thankful we got to stay at this rental!
