The hotel was great even though I paid in advance and when I checked in the clerk really spoke like I was illiterate when it came to using a card for accidental fees. I paid for my room with a chime card but when she asked for a card to keep on file she pointed at the card machine and said what does that say- yes there is a note on the machine that they don’t take Chime but that how I purchased the room and for her to point and say what does that say made me feel some type of way. But other than that the rooms were great and it was very clean. But they do charge for parking which I think is crazy as well. When I checked out I asked the guy for a receipt so I can show my job since I was there for a funeral and they needed to pay me back his response was oh since you paid on Hotels.com they emailed you a copy- ummm that’s not what I asked but okay. I’ve booked many hotels through this website and when I ask for a receipt it’s never a problem.

While the room was adequate, 2 things stand out that made my decision for 3 stars... The 3rd party parking is advertised on the hotel counter as $10, when in fact after "fees" it comes to $12. Just advertise it as $12. A roach crawled across the floor in my room (I have video proof) but because I used Expedia and didn't book through the hotel, they wouldn't do anything about it. :(

Hotel and room were super nice and clean. Looks like a newer building with everything up to date. Breakfast was decent, I like that they individually wrapped the pastries, it felt more sanitary. Everything about this hotel was great!! Two things I wish I had known: parking is not free and there is another Hampton inn by the airport (so make sure you put the address in instead of just clicking whatever comes up in Google Maps).
