Country Inn & Suites Huntersville was the cleanest hotel that we have ever stayed at. The folks at the front desk were very friendly. We got the room with the jet tub and pull out sofa bed, but due to my son's sensory issues, we had to request to switch rooms in the middle of the night so that we could get sleep (no fault of the hotels). The lady at the front desk was so kind and understanding and had no issues helping us. The next morning, the gentleman at the front desk checked on us to make sure that we were good and had everything that we needed. The location is great and there are so many places to eat and check out that are close. The pool area was clean and warm! They also had a fire pit out on the patio. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

The breakfast was very limited and not much to offer. Decided to skip it. The room smelled awful! Very strong ammonia smell (cat pee). I asked/complained about it and was not given any options. Staff was not at desk at night. Only one working elevator. In major need of renovation. I travel a lot and never complain but the smell was awful.

The hotel room seems nice enough at first glance, but a close examination of the bathroom reveals it’s quite old construction that’s been updated with modern counters and fixtures. The AC unit in the room was incredibly loud and dated… it actually woke me up at one point during the night.
