The unit was on the first floor and right on the street, which wasn't that bad, but in response, all the plastic shades were closed and broken so you couldn't open them. This made the unit very dark. The kitchen "table" was tiny with two beat up looking high metal stools to sit on. The floors weren't in very good condition and neither were the quarter rounds around the tub. Some of the furniture was very nice and the beds were comfortable, but they were pushed up right against the walls on either side of the room, so my husband and I couldn't sleep together without one having to climb over the other one to get up in the night to use the bathroom. We called it "shabby chic". The parking lot was full of broken bricks and stones and I had to pull the vines away to see the sign where we were supposed to park. On our last night we accidentally got locked out when I typed the code in incorrectly in the dark. The person who answered the emergency number was very nice and tried to walk us through getting into the lock box, but it wouldn't budge and finally broke off and we couldn't get it back on, but when I called back to let them know we would leave it inside they were very nice about it. The location was good and not too far a walk to restaurants. Perhaps the second floor unit would be better.
