Hands down my favorite getaway place to stay thus far! Susie is an incredible communicator and host. Thoughtful snacks, handwritten notes and plenty of recommendations/local info, very responsive and takes great care and pride in this charming cottage! The layout was perfect and felt much bigger than it actually was. All amenities you need and extremely clean and cozy. The back porch was ideal for a raining afternoon/evening and we loved cooking out and listening to the trees blowing in the breeze. We will definitely stay here again and again!!

Sue Cobb was delightful and very accommodating. The best hostess of any! The huge back porch was very peaceful and pleasant to sit and have morning coffee. We cooked out one evening and ate at the table on the porch. Sue had extra snacks for us and was available for any needs we had. We diffidently will stay again.

Absolutely precious and cozy place to stay! We will definitely be back!! Conveniently located not far from the hwy, very accessible, and close to good dining. The Sunshine Cottage was the perfect choice for visiting Chappell Hill and Brenham. Also, the host is on top of her game and has an incredible attention to detail!!!

Cottage is super cozy and in center of downtown. It is so peaceful away from all the hustle and bustle of a busy life. Cottage has everything you need all you have to do is bring your clothes. The host Mrs Susie is the sweetest lady and she really takes pride in making sure you are well taken care of. We stay there twice a year and just love it.

The property and owner were great. The bathroom had extra things you may forget and she even had some treats in the fridge for us. It was a quiet and safe location. We went for the Round Top show and felt it was close enough without the extreme mark up of actually staying in round Top.
