Cute House, No TV and Under Freight Train Tracks
I want to start by saying the house was adorable and very clean. The location was walkable to downtown Catskill over a cure foot bridge. All descriptions provided were accurate. The owner was very responsive and provided an emergency contact list in the home. Check in was super easy. My only disappointments were that the house is literally underneath a freight train. While one reviewer mentioned needing ear plugs, nothing noted that the trains go all day and night and your bed literally shakes while the train goes by (and continues for 10 minutes). No one got any sleep, including the baby who sleeps through anything. There also was no TV. In full defense of the owner, a TV was not listed now that I look back on the description. However, as a family of 5, I genuinely wasn't looking for a TV to be listed because we stay in homes all the time and just anticipated that it was included or specifically called out in the description. Overall the trip was wonderful to visit my brother and his new baby who live a mile away. All towels and sheets were soft and clean. They provided a welcome wine bottle and butterfingers. Wouldn't stay again due to the train, but wonderful home.

Great Adventure!
We ended up coming to Catskill by chance to meet family in town on business. We ended up loving this little town and having a great time exploring all that it has to offer. This home was perfect for our stay. We were close enough to just walk into town, and enjoy some great food. It overall was a great experience.

Clean, cozy home for small family reunion
My husband, daughter and I rented this property to reconnect with son, daughter in law and almost 5 year old grandson who live in another country. This home was perfect for our visit. The owner went out of their way with the snow removal which was greatly appreciated. The property is close to train tracks so for light sleepers, you may want to bring ear plugs for sleeping. We would love to return when it is a bit warmer so we can sit outside and enjoy the fire pit. Kelley, thank you for everything!!
