"The rooms are really nice and the lobby and courtyard areas are nice too. The hot tub needs to be open earlier, like 8 or 9am, not 10am. The location is excellent, close access to downtown. There was a loud party next door on Saturday night that went late. Otherwise we really like The Clocktower."

"Great spot, right on the beach, food was good, drinks were good. Staff is very nice and helpful. We will be back for sure. Located in walking distance to the downtown Ventura and pier. There's a great lake called casitas also where we went fishing."

"The room was a $85 special, that should have been maybe $60. Paint was peeling from the tub and sink. Amateur paint job on the bathroom walls. No comfortable chair to sit in, and no table to speak of. Small room that was good for sleeping and nothing else. Did I mention that it was super noisy outside? For almost the same price you can stay at another Motel 6 just a few miles away."

Just be aware of few things: (1) There is a $10 per day parking fee (2) The hotel has partnered with a restaurant across the hotel for non-buffet (served) breakfast with only a couple or so of vegetarian options (3) Its a busy avenue, traffic noise can be a bother but the doors and windows are ok to cut down on the noise"
