Very disappointed in amenities
The house itself had a great layout.
I am providing this information so others can make an informed decision. Unfortunately, I had to text/called the owner daily to try to get amenities - got 2 on Thursday. Not what I wanted to do on my vacation!
1. The house access code changed from day prior to arrival day.
2. The garage door is manual, no opener. You have to enter through the house, manually open door after releasing the security lever on garage door. Must use security lever at all times because
the lock/deadbolt from garage to house doesn’t work. It’s not aligned properly.
3. There was no hand soap, wash clothes or hand towels in bathrooms. ( was told they get stained and dirty, so they don’t provide)
4. No dish towels.
5. Getting toilet paper was a whole other battle, had two rolls, no extra
6. No Kleenex, used toilet paper.
7. Pillows are about 2” thick and some of the cases smelled, so had to do laundry. No pillow assortment/options
8. House is located on busy street.
9. We arrived Sunday, outdoor trash cans full, trash wasn’t put out for pickup on Friday, so left our trash in garage so animals wouldn’t get to it.
10. I wasn’t fond of the master bed (memory foam) very uncomfortable
The items listed above are expected, and should not be something the guests should have to request or be worried about. I believe they are standard amenities.
I would not rent this house again
