If you are looking for absolute cleanliness in facilities, then this is for you. If you are looking for quality rooms, equipped with high end electronics, such as Bose sound and Samsung TV, and all, I mean ALL possible needed appliances for the kitchen, then this is for you. If you are looking for absolute quiet by the pool area and overall in a resort, and you don't like seeing too many people, this is for you. The resort is beautiful. What I did not like is the fact that this resort had absolutely no entertainment. None. Only once we saw a lady singing live with a guitarist. Secondly, the food options in room service and the 2 available restaurants, are very limited. They are extremely repetitive. More options should become available. You are limited to El Faro grill for breakfast and lunch, and also dinner... but for dinner you can go to the mexican restaurant. Again, limited options on food especially if you are here as we were for 7 days. Yes they have italian night or international night... still very limited, and not much variety. There is no breakfast or lunch buffet here either. A fairly decent car will come to pick you up IF you email them to make reservations for that. Everything you will eat, from Room service, restaurants, the 2 bars they have, you will need to sign a check for. Even if you have the all inclusive option.

If there is a heaven on earth for those who appreciate great food, drinks, facilities and the very best service....this is it. Our second visit here with the value of the all inclusive package just confirmed it. Don't hesitate to indulge yourself at Grand Residences. Unfortunately, you will be spoiled by this experience and prone to disappointment elsewhere.

Great hotel and near to the beach. One of the few hotels that my wife and I would frequent, because of the service, staff and accomidations.

Best vacation ever. The rooms are indeed Grand. The food at El Faro , Flor de canela and the grill is excellent. Even the Included room service food is excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge staff is great. Everyone at the restaurants treats you like a King. Zumba, aquaerobics, and salsa classes are great. My son used the included personal trainer service daily. My daughter loved the pottery and the gentleman who runs the activity is great. Beautiful beach, the Caribbean is having sea weed problems but they have a machine that removes it and they start at 6 am daily. Buy a pair of Croocks and you will be fine in and out of the water. We liked it so much that we changed plans and stayed in the hotel instead of going to nearby attractions. The trip to Chichen Itza and the Cenote is worth it but remember to drink bottled water only. This is the ideal place for relaxation and good food. If you want you can make it into a health spa by doing all the aerobic activities and using the personal trainer. Next year we are staying for two weeks instead of one.

Most relaxing resort we have visted. Cleanliness 100% . Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great food. 2 restaurants and room ssrvice. Beautiful pool. Very close to the ocean. Activities close by if that's what you wanted to do. Highly recommend.
