Room was not clean. Picked up a cup to use and found it was still dirty with coffee from previous border. Bed looked like someone had slept in it when we first entered. Lint stuff on floor. House phone did not work. Ice outside door we were instructed to use. Complained to desk. Was told she could do nothing and would have to wait until manager arrived the next morning. The next morning, the same person was still working. No manager in sight. Avoid this motel!!

The desk chair was not a desk chair. The bathroom exhaust fan was loud enough to wake the dead. The toilet seat was like an not fun amusement ride.

The room and property was clean. The bed was comfortable. The only employees we saw were at the front desk. They were both friendly. The breakfast was ok. It was easy to get to and very quiet. Overall, it served our needs.

There was garbage in the parking lot. an old tire on the lawn. the garbage can at the entry was overflowing when we arrived and was never emptied while we were there. The sink in our room was damaged, tipped downward in front, I took photos because I didn't want to be blamed for it. The breakfast was gross. They ran out of regular coffee after the first pot. Walmart is right next to the hotel, someone could have gone and picked some up. The people working there seemed like they didn't care or didn't want to be there, they rarely made eye contact. The front desk person didn't even stand up to greet us. Also when we booked it the website said they had a pool. it was closed, the windows looking in to the area were boarded up. I could tell it had been that way for a long time. I normally don't complain, however there were enough issues that we will not return to that hotel and certainly will not recommend it.

Time for a major overhaul

Time for a major overhaul. Bathroom vent fan noisy (bearings bad), faucet missing aerator (water splashes everywhere). I’ve stayed here on/off for the past 25 years and thru multiple owners.
