This cozy cottage is situated twenty feet from the shoreline of quiet Dyer Long Pond in Jefferson ME. Closed in the winter this quiet retreat offers a rustic pine interior with all the amenities needed to enjoy your Maine vacation. Full size bed on the first floor and full size /twin bed located in the loft. The loft has ladder like steps with rails. There is also a full size futon in the living room. Located on the lower half of the lake, the cottage is nestled in dense pine and oak trees. The lake is quiet with very little power boating and is geared more towards kayaking and canoeing. It is definitely a nature lovers retreat.... good chance you will see an osprey, bald eagle, beavers, turtles, loons and many other bird species. Only 15 minutes from mid coast Maine!
