Inside, the plush lounge invites you to unwind with comfortable sofa seating, a large TV, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a fridge, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and cooking essentials. This area opens seamlessly onto the spacious deck through wide bi-fold doors. Out here, an alfresco dining set, lounge area with wall-mounted TV, and direct access to the primary bedroom create seamless indoor–outdoor living.
The home features three beautifully styled bedrooms, each with leafy outlooks and air conditioning for year-round comfort. The primary suite is a private sanctuary with a king bed, walk-in wardrobe, high-end ensuite, and its own TV. The second bedroom features a queen bed and a private TV, while the third has another queen bed. After a day exploring, soak in the freestanding tub or refresh in the separate shower of the main bathroom, complete with a large vanity and separate toilet. A laundry with a washer, dryer, and stocked essentials adds convenience.

The suburb of Edge Hill is a peaceful residential neighbourhood just 10 minutes' drive from Cairns city centre. This is an excellent base for exploring the Cairns Botanic Gardens, walking tracks of Mount Whitfield Conservation Park, Kuranda village and the surrounding regions. In Cairns town there’s excellent cafes and dining, markets and beautiful beaches nearby making it a year-round travel destination. Plus, it’s easy to get to famous sites like Cape Tribulation and the Daintree. Enjoy breakfast at Caffiend or The Chambers, lunch at Greenfields and dinner at Salt House with its beautiful waterfront views. Don’t miss Cairns institution Rusty’s Markets (Friday-Sunday) to sample the region’s exotic fresh fruit, vegetables, breads, dairy and seafood from more than 180 stalls. The market also has a host of international food stalls, specialty products, clothing and gifts.

We recommend hiring a car when in Cairns as there's lots to see and do and many beautiful places to visit.

As the house is located in a residential area and the neighbours are close by, we ask guests to please come in from the balcony after 10pm on weeknights as loud conversations travel directly into the neighbours' house.
This is a high-set Queenslander, there is a set of steps to climb to the front and the back of the home. No barriers or gates for children will be provided, we advise parents to supervise young children at all times or ask our host if you are unsure if this home is suitable for you.
There is plenty of free parking directly outside the front of the home on the side of the road, or you can park your car in the driveway, within the gates.
There are no other occupants/residents that live in this property or downstairs.

A beautiful house in an ideal location - within walking distance of the botanic gardens and a short drive to the city. The kids loved the pool, the outdoor space and all the TV's.The agent was quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay.
Two senior couples having a catch up. Absolutely perfect for us. Good layout and space in the house. Large bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. Kitchen was great. So too the privacy and location.
