We had a wonderful time at Nobu. The staff is incredibly attentive, and Antonio and Jean Paul did an excellent job. The grounds are lovely, and the food at Nobu is always a treat.

Dear Expedia Customer Support, I am writing to formally report several issues that occurred during my recent stay at the Nobu Hotel, which I booked through Expedia. Unfortunately, the experience did not reflect the level of service or accommodations that Nobu is known for, nor what I have consistently received during prior stays. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the room had been neglected. The staff was noticeably less attentive compared to previous visits. Most concerning, our room did not have warm or hot running water, making it impossible to shower, bathe, or even wash our faces properly. When we notified the staff, we were offered a room change; however, the replacement room was a lower-tier room without an ocean view, despite our original reservation and the rate we paid. This was not an acceptable solution. Additionally, during check-out, we were not asked about our stay—something the hotel has always done in the past. It left the impression that service quality had significantly declined. This visit was meant to be a birthday celebration for my wife, yet the experience was severely lacking. We also encountered issues at the hotel restaurant: despite the property not being busy, we were told we needed to wait 10 minutes so two scheduled parties could be seated first—after which they would determine whether they could accommodate a party of two. Honestly, the service was mediocre at best with an exception of the pool staff, which was amazing. The concierge confirmed bookings that ultimately were not accurate, repeatedly didn’t do things that he said he would do, send a screenshot of a booking that was not what was confirmed.. we were able to send a screenshot back of exactly what he confirmed zero apology zero consideration, rude across the board. The suites that I had were not the ones we should’ve had. They were not able to give us the correct one, no contact from Manager, the restaurant and bars frankly we’re not busy at all yet difficult to get reservations, they basically gave everyone spa service at the resort so there were no bookings available. The whole thing was ridiculous. Our door on the patio didn’t lock. It took him an hour at 10:00 PM to come fix it. The only thing redeeming about the entire stay, accommodation, restaurants, was the pool staff. I’ve stayed at other Nobu hotels and was always impressed. This one needs a new manager.

The Nobu used to be one of my favorite hotels in Cabo, but there was a noticeable downgrade during our last stay. The staff were WAY less attentive and consistently got orders wrong, food and drinks took forever at the pool, and the cocktail program across the property needs a serious overhaul. On top of this, they didn’t let us know that the adult pool was closed so we had to sit amongst screaming and splashing kids (not ideal). Otherwise the rooms and property at a whole are gorgeous - I just wish they could get back to where they used to be a couple of years ago.

GORGEOUS, open, airy, comfortable resort. Minimalist, but with comfort. The staff is world class! They were outstanding! Genuine, warm and real smiles all around. Many thanks to Alejandro at the pool, and the amazing Manager of Muna, who went out of his way to allow me to properly taste an appetizer I was too full eat when ordered. (He sent it up to my room later as room service.) Everyone raves about Nobu restaurant, and it's deserved, but Muna is often overlooked, and their chef is doing some creative, exceptional work. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, but the coolest bathtubs ever! I had a room with a private pool, and was very disappointed to see that meant I got to stare at a wall of dirt. No view, whatsoever. Only negative from a design standpoint. Excellent spa! They use decent products, so the results are quite nice. They will ask you to come early and enjoy the hydrotherapy. Do it! Wonderful environment. Great for weddings, meetings, girls weekends. I went solo, and still loved it. NOTE: the ocean is not swimmable. Beautiful private beach, but ....

The property was immaculate. No complaints there. The service was better than an all inclusive, but it’s very obvious everyone is working for tips and it doesn’t always come across genuine. There are a lot of hidden fees in the hotel. I didnr mind paying I just don’t like being surprised with fees. When we booked we got breakfast included and 1000 bucks at the spa. Well what they don’t tell you is that you have to pay 35% fee as a tip on your “free” spa treatment. And that your continental breakfast is fruit, coffee and a croissant. The food was good too. Not excellent. Just good. It was good but it doesn’t have me running back there anytime soon. It’s a bit of a hype in my opinion.

Rooms are beautiful. Staff is generally friendly; amenities are also lovely. Food was meh. Especially since to leave the resort you pay $50 each way, and they upcharge you for Everything. Imagine paying $30 for an omelette, and to add two teaspoons of spinach it costs $9 extra, and $6 for some jam on your toast. With a food quality of 3/5. The food in the City was amazing and reasonable. The food here was not great, and about $100 per person for dinner easily without drinks. Spa is nice, worth a try, not sure I would pay $400 for a massage. But you get some discounts with specific reservations. Most important- call to see if there is an event prior to your stay. There was a wedding the weekend we were there with kids. It was incredibly loud all hours into the night. And the staff was immediately occupied with the wedding party, service went down the drain when this happened. Expect zero quality service when this happened. We paid $1000 a night - not including the $300 airport transfer to wait 1.5 hours for a bellhop to help with luggage, 2 hours for a toothbrush to the room, or hours for a taxi as the wedding party of 200 guests were their priority. Understandable, but I would not have booked had I known this was happening while we were there. Maybe at a less busy time, this would have been lovely. But the last few nights were really frustrating for us.
