This is filthiest hotel I’ve ever seen. The whole place smelled terrible. There was black mold on the ceiling and walls, the rugs were all stained and hadn’t been vacuumed in who knows how long, the toilet leaked, and there was only one clean towel in a room for three people. No additional towels were available. And to top it all off, there were HORNETS crawling in and out of the AC unit. Not to mention the six or seven dead ones I found on the floor next to the bed. If we made it out of there without picking up bed bugs it’ll be a miracle. Other guests were complaining of bites at checkout. I’ve stayed in plenty of La Quinta hotels before and always had a good experience. So when I was having trouble finding an available pet friendly hotel in the area, I booked the reservation without reading the reviews first. That is one mistake I’ll never make again. If it was in a safer area, we honestly would’ve been better off sleeping in the car and showering at a truck stop. That said, and because I think it’s important to end with something positive to justify this single-star review, at least the car wasn’t broken into. So that’s something. I offer sincere well wishes to anyone misfortune enough to have to stay here in future.

The carpet in our room was a dark color so at first we could not see how dirty it was. We have a daughter that crawls and her knees and the tops of her feet became completely black after 20 minutes. After we noticed this, we checked the bottom of everyone else’s feet and our feet were all black and filthy. When we complained to the front desk they did offer to give us a different room but we had already unpacked everything for 2 adults and 3 children so they gave us extra sheets to put on the carpet so we could walk on the sheets instead of the carpet.

We were in the middle of a big move when we stayed at La Quinta. It was the perfect place for us and our big dog after a long day in the car. The room was spacious, had soft sheets, and the breakfast in the morning was very welcome. I trusted that they were also Covid-safe.

No breakfast as advertised but if you ask for it they said they will pack one for you. This hotel room has a fridge and microwave, comfortable beds, nice comfortable room with wall paper and nice decor. Bathroom sick is in the entryway so a little short on room. Very good value at the price.
