We recently stayed at this beautiful cabin in Hochatown, Oklahoma, and overall, we had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic—nestled in nature with absolutely stunning scenery all around. It was quiet, peaceful, and felt like the perfect escape from the city. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and extremely comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Communication with the host was excellent—prompt, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire trip.We especially appreciated how well-equipped the cabin was. From the kitchen to the living spaces, everything was thoughtfully stocked and made our stay easy and enjoyable. It’s clear the owners take great care of the property and care about their guests’ experience. That said, the biggest drawback was the parking situation. The driveway is extremely steep, with no flat areas to park. I drove my husband’s truck and, even with the parking brake on, it began to roll backward. It was a bit nerve-wracking. The drive into the cabin is also very narrow, with deep gullies on either side, so you have to be extra cautious coming in and out.Additionally, the steep incline from the parking area to the cabin made unloading and loading our things a real challenge. We wouldn’t recommend this cabin for older guests or anyone with mobility issues—it was tough even for us. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again—but we hope the parking situation is improve

A healthy, fun retreat

A last minute getaway turned special! This home has it all and great owners that checked in with us daily through the app. We used the sauna, cold plunge and hot tub daily. They had outdoor games, indoor games, a record player and a workout retreat space up in the loft. It was a perfect time. We used the provided paddleboards after a day of hiking to cool off in the lake. We floated the river and relaxed at the cabin. Thank you for sharinf this magnificent space with us!
