It is located right on the doorstep of Wolstonbury Hill, the South Downs Way which passes through the village and close by to the famous Jack and Jill Windmills and just a 15-minute walk to the village pub. This stunning cabin has two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other a double. The family bathroom has a lovely P-shaped bath with shower over. There is a well laid out open plan living space with a good-sized dining area, living area with sofa and two chairs and wall-hung Smart TV. The kitchen has everything you could need including an oven, hob, fridge, and dishwasher. Perfect for dining at home after a busy day exploring. On a summer’s evening why not sit out and relax the veranda overlooking the private garden, a lovely spot to enjoy a glass or two of wine or even warm up in front of the fire pit. Those looking to cycle but not bringing their own bikes then do speak with the owner who is available to organise electric bikes delivered to the cabin ready for your break (subject to availability). Horse can be accommodated (please speak with the owner to arrange).
The nearest village is Hassocks, just a 9-minute drive away, with a train statio (London to Brighton line). Hassocks has gift shops, cafes, two small supermarkets, a bakery, a butchers, a delicatessen and a beauticians.
The Cabin also affords good bus routes into Brighton. Brighton Marina is a 20-minute drive away with free parking and offers a large supermarket, cinema, bowling alley, casino, over twenty different restaurants, gifts shops, an indoor glow golf and outdoor mini-golf to entertain the family - or you can take an under cliff walk along the coast.
Shoreham-by-Sea, also just 20 minutes away by car, is a lovely village offering the Shoreham Fort and harbour to explore plus numerous cafés and restaurants are available. Head over the Adur Ferry Bridge to Shoreham Beach; its vegetated shingle is an internationally rare habitat and has been made a local nature reserve. Other must-see places within Sussex include Arundel with its famous castle, RSPB Pulborough, The Bluebell Steam Railway, Ashdown Forest or slightly further afield to the west, you’ll find the historic Chichester Cathedral and the world-famous Goodwood and Fontwell races. Beach 7 miles. Shop and pub ¾ mile, cafe 350 yards.
