Magical! Inside and out. The setting is idyllic, surrounded by walls of rhododendron and the playful sound of the water. Inside is every comfort, elegantly casual. All in all a cocoon of peace and delight. Kathy is a dream-weaver of a host. We hope to return again and again.

This property was the nicest and most beautiful place I’ve been to in a while. My sisters and I wanted a secluded get-a-way. Tranquil, beautiful, peaceful. I truly did not want to leave the property and go into town for anything, however, we did go hiking a couple of days to a couple of beautiful waterfalls. This place will not disappoint. Definitely coming back!!!

Beautiful and relaxing!! If you're a nature lover you can't ask for more!! Surrounded by Rhododendron on a creek with many little waterfalls....and trout.....at the end of a gravel road! Moss covered boulders that when we walked up to front of the cabin many little blue/purple butterflies exploded up from the ground!!! Wow!!

A balm for the soul.

We just finished our third stay in this charming cottage in a secluded mountain cove, and it was a balm for the soul in these challenging times. What a perfect venue to celebrate my wife's birthday, sitting by the waterfall and soaking in the peace and tranquility of the cool mountain air. And to be serenaded by a Louisiana Water Thrush was the icing on the cake.

Perfect location to relax

The Adirondack chairs overlooking the little waterfall and creek were our favorite place to sit and read. The porch swing was a close second. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was convenient to the beautiful waterfall hikes we enjoyed and close enough to brevard that we could enjoy nice restaurants in the evening. We loved it!

Gorgeous property- the cabin was extremely well appointed. Custom designer drapery, top line cabinetry and beautiful modern bathroom.The waterfall in the front yard was magical. The front porch swing was icing on the cake to enjoy the waterfall. The one thing guests need to be mindful of is that it is a 25 minute drive into town. We didn’t realize it would take that long due to the mileage distance, but these are mountain back-roads you need to take to the property- beautiful drive but will take time.

A Piece of Heaven

The cabin, the waterfalls, the beauty and peace that staying at this property brought me was beyond my expectations. The kindness and flexibility shown by the owner was unmatched. We had an issue with smoke from the fireplace but, just being there sitting on the porch swing and by the firepit was what just what I needed. Kathy is an amazing host and her decorating skills made the cabin warm and inviting. I hope to visit again soon. I highly recommend this piece of heaven!

Peaceful lovely spot

This is our second visit to this beautiful place, we decided to come in the summer this time. Unfortunately, we arrived right in the middle of Hurricane Debby. She stayed with us the entire five days, and being able to watch the Olympics was really the only thing that got us through it. Though I will say, watching the creek and waterfall become more and more full and fast rushing every day was amazing. We said goodbye sadly, because we knew that we would not be coming back, not because of the weather but because the drive has gotten harder for us as we have gotten older. What a lovely place perfect for an artist or a novelist Working on a book. ❤️

Waterfall cottage

Great porch, setting and small waterfall. Very secluded. Glad that we brought our Jeep to navigate the road. Host was excellent and very responsive. Enjoyed the peacefulness!

Bliss by the stream!

The cabin was just the perfect setting. The sound of the waterfall and stream are comforting. The amenities were the perfect combination of rustic and modern. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to relax!
