The pros for us- The cabin was clean and well decorated to give that cabin in the woods feel. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with enough dishes, silverware, and cookware. There were ample towels for the shower and jetted bath tub (personal sized tub). There were extra pillows and blankets available in the cabin and ample places for clothing between dressers and closets . The staff was helpful in answering questions and booking events. Fairly good- sized TVs were available in the living room and both bedrooms. I mention this as I've stayed in cabins before where the TVs were barely the size of a computer screen.
The cons for us- first off, the cabins are NOT secluded. Our screened in porch was in view of at least 4 screened porches of other cabins. It was ok for us this time of year as not many cabins were occupied , but don't expect privacy on season. The other cons we had were with the fireplace and outdoor hot tub. The fireplace in our cabin was disconnected/unable to be used. Also, the outdoor hot tub is located within the outdoor pool area and thus can only be used seasonally. I was there with my husband celebrating our anniversary and looking forward to relaxing in the outdoor hot tub together and enjoying the ambiance of the fireplace in the cabin. These things should be mentioned in the advertisement of the property BEFORE booking as I would have booked elsewhere for these amenities.
