Awesome View and Location!
We stayed here for three nights during the Wings over the Rockies Festival. If crowded trendy surroundings aren't for you, this place is a breath of fresh mountain air! Quiet, isolated, good place for spiritual renewal. Beautiful decor, lovely and adequate dishes/pots & pans, nice bathroom but spa shower built for people over 5"4', could hardly reach controls or towel hook, lol! Nice digs, but I do have some concerns to share that may matter a lot to others:1. There are no window coverings. At all. (I loved seeing the moonlight spill over the bed, but need darkness for sleep). 2. There is no door on the bedroom, and there is a step down into the room. 3. Listing says "microwave" and "television" but I could find neither. No light source over sink (to prevent working in your own shadow).NOTE! Check in needs to be done IN ADVANCE and somewhere with strong cellphone reception! I tried doing it the day of (via email coming from previous lodging) and had to make that choice mentioned in the listing between paying a flat fee or putting a security deposit on my credit card. Plan ahead! The property management employees were EXCELLENT and responsive. I'd just prefer a simpler method to check in.If one were a writer, researcher, photographer, or on a spiritual retreat, this place would be a perfect match.
