Refurbished room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Due to the nature of it being an old building it was quite noisy and could hear doors slamming, floorboards creaking and conversations through walls. Was attending a wedding locally so this was a convenient and affordable place to stay.

We stayed here for one night and had dinner in the restaurant. The staff at Dormie House are incredible - so helpful and friendly. All of the guys who helped at check-in and dinner were so welcoming. We had a delicious meal and dessert, it was hard to narrow down a selection from the many choices on the menu! This was followed by a lovely sleep in the comfortable bed, which we really needed as we were taking part in a big event the next day. Everything was clean and fresh. I attend an annual event in Bundanoon and was so glad to have discovered the Dormie House. I'll be back next year!

Nice place although our room overlooking the golf course had golfers wandering right past our window and chatting. We didnt expect that we would be beside the practice area. What was REALLY annoying was the UHT milk tubs in our fridge just curdled when we made a coffee. Surely its not too hard to replace these every decade or so? We went to a service station to get fresh milk. Next morning we ordered a bacon and egg roll and a hash brown in the dining room. We waited 30 minutes and it still didnt arrive so we cancelled the order. Bar staff were very apologetic and gave us a refund, and also a free B&E roll. Kudos to the young man.

Room very small. Heating control confusing and staff wasn't sure how it worked either. Room was too cold, had to get fan heater. Dining room was warm the first morning but no heat on the Sunday morning. Stairs hard for my wife to manage. Suggest putting a lift in the storage room. The venue was quiet, and the bed was comfortable.

My room looked out onto carpark and I felt very exposed so kept blinds down and had no view. It was a budget room so maybe this is the price I had to pay. Lounge and dining areas were lovely.
