"I had stayed at the Grand Aminta pre-COVID and had a great stay there. This time I brought another group of friends for a local visit, and we also had a fabulous time. The room was a nice size, and we were upgraded to a balcony terrace room. We enjoyed the views and fresh air breezes until evening. Unfortunately, cyclists like to rev their engines as they head up the winding hills so we were not able to sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was good each morning and watching the sun rise over the hills was especially relaxing. We had dinner at the hotel several nights. The bracciole was to die for -- tender, well-seasoned and in a delicious red sauce. Motto bene!!! The hotel provides a shuttle service into downtown Sorrento. It leaves every hour and returns on the half-hour, starting at 9am. We walked from the shuttle drop off to the local train to Pompeii and then another day walked to the ferry to Capri for a day. Another day, we had a small group tour of the Amalfi Coast and took an Uber from the hotel which was easy to arrange. I highly recommend the Grand Aminta for convenience, great service and comfortable accommodations!"

"If you’re staying in Capri, this hotel is not to be missed! Close to marina, Anacapri and Capri square. The staff is beyond helpful, the room was nice and clean with beautiful views. The restaurant was not hotel quality food, they have made this a culinary experience. We will be back! "
