The cottage was satisfactory for a short stay with my pup. The back yard was small and the gate did not function well. Note a nice view of airplanes landing at the nearby airport. The planes could not be heard from inside the cottage.I found the carport too small for loading and access to a full size truck so I just parked outside it. The ground and entry walk are uneven and could be a tripping hazard for less agile people. The uneven pavers and driveway gravels plus a general unkept landscape gave the appearance of unprofessional construction. The interior had some new finishing including the hardwood flooring and the bathroom was nice. Overall the house could use some additional lighting in the bedroom closet area. Some exterior lights (decorative) did not function and light switches were wired upside down. Some wiring running to the outside shed appeared hazardous. The kitchen was dated and cabinet doors did not close well. Although there were plenty of dishes to use there was no dishwasher. One frying pan had been put away dirty so the cleaning crew should watch for this. There was also too much clutter in the cabinets with many unnecessary items left in the storage areas. Also the TV remotes may need to be replaced as they did not function well and the streaming was slow.Overall I would rate equivalent to a two-star hotel.
