Hello Boca!!

Overall it was a great stay. I only try to choose Residence Inn by Marriott when I travel because I love the studio style with a kitchen. It was clean but I think some minor maintenance wouldn't hurt. Like paint chipped on the bathroom door. Shower chair didn't feel stable. Minor things. I would definitely stay again. 😁

We were staying in the area for a medical procedure for my husband. We chose the property because of the proximity to the location and it had 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. The two bedroom suite was clean, but the unit itself was in bad shape. The floor in the kitchen, in front of the refrigerator was collapsed. So much so, I tripped a couple of times. There was also mold stains coming through the walls in both bathrooms, and on the ceiling upstairs. Had we noticed some of these things as soon we checked in, we wouldn’t have stayed. This could be a nice place, but it seems like Marriott has forgotten about this property. It’s one thing to be dated and to need a remodel, but visible mold? Staying there for more than a night or two is a health hazard.

During that time I had to be accompanied by the desk staff to my room every time I left it for breakfast, gym, or to do laundry. We were told after we paid for our stay at check in that no key cards could be issued to our stay because their key card machine was down. We were told that it would be fixed the next day and receive our keys then. We checked in on Friday and checked out on Wednesday. The key card machine was down for the entirety of our stay and the front desk staff had to let us into our room EVERY TIME! It was extremely inconvenient. We asked to speak with the manager and they never showed or met with us. We had to wait up to 30mins at a time to gain access to our room as front desk staff was away from the desk. We were lied to by the staff each day regarding the issue and honestly this issue ruined our stay completely.
