Would not recommend

Pros: Amazing view! Great water pressure! Recommendations: bring a 4x4 to get up the road to the cabin. Cons: Cleanliness, or lack of…. We had to have the agency come back up the day after we checked in to clean the cabin to what should have been done prior to our arrival. Dirty dishes, dirty clothes from previous guest, moldy shower curtain (which we went and bought our own from town), hot tub not cleaned or chemical treated, and lots of dead bugs in the house. The agency did all the right things to correct, but first impressions stuck and I would not recommend nor stay at a Vacasa location again.

Perfect Getaway!!

Had the most relaxing stay at this cute place and enjoyed the beautiful panoramic views of the mountains. The screened-in porch was my favorite as the views are breathtaking. Enjoyed the firepit at night overlooking the mountains. The road up to the property is easier with a 4WD but my sedan did just fine as long as I went really slow. If your car is low to the ground you may have issues. All in all it was a lovely getaway and will be coming back!

BOLO Copper Head Rattlesnake

Dirty old run down cabin with Spectacular views I hope the owners get to read this. Poor maintenance roof leaking rotten pieces of wood on the floor Poor House keeping, everything was swept under the beds, sofas and rugs. A slimmy film with clumps of hair inside the Hot Tub. The best part is the Copper Head Rattlesnake protecting the cabin its living under the front steps, our puppy nearly got struck in her face when coming home walking up the stairs and ran into it again while lighting a fire in the fire pit, area needs to be raked,, swept, pressure cleaned. I would love to attach photos

Poor experience, hot tub not working, pet hair

Communicating with Vacasa was horrible. They never returned a call back. Hot tub not working (after confirming it was wirking) pet hair everywhere and smell, beds felt they would fall apart at any movement. Wi-Fi not working. This property needs attention. Will only rent from owners who manage their properties themselves. Never using vacasa managed. They have still not resolved our issues with us. The view and pool table were the only positives

Mountain Retreat

Super cute cabin at the top of a winding gravel mountain road, just a few miles away from downtown Blue Ridge. Loved the hot tub and pool table!

Cute Cabin that is Okay

The cabin itself needs a little TLC and better house cleaning. The air filter in the living room was covered in dust, many of the ceiling lights flickered during our stay and the dimmer switches are backwards (up is low light versus down is high light), there are several spots on the floor with water damage (in the kitchen and bathroom), the bath mats need to be replaced, there were no rugs on the floor (like the pictures advertised), the towels are super scratchy and very harsh on the skin, there were no instructions for how to use the hot tub or the fire place (thank goodness for YouTube videos to teach us) and lastly / most importantly the bathtub is SUPER slippery and dangerous. There needs to be a liner placed in the bottom to avoid people becoming injured. Overall, this visit was just OK and a bit over priced for the quality of the property.

Great cabin for a small group. Comfy and close to town. Make sure to drive a 4wd vehicle. Cabin does have a rough drive but is worth it once you get there.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful cabin with a gorgeous view , The only problem we had was getting to the cabin you need to put a sign with the number of the three houses located in the same street, And the Street Needs to be fixed too many holes. Other than that everything else was perfect, will recommend Highly.

Absolutely perfect for a getaway

Our favorite part of our trip to Blue Ridge was watching the sunrise over the mountains from the hot tub. The porch was private and had an amazing view. Second favorite part was getting to play pool in the warm and cozy cabin. Everything was spotless and we felt comfortable that the cabin was a clean and Covid safe. We plan to return! Make the 10 minute drive to Grumpy Old Men brewery for great beer and great service. If you have a 4x4 or SUV that's the best for the trip as the road in is steep. If you are Floridians like us and aren't used to the dry climate bring good hand cream and lotion! Other than that just prepare to enjoy your trip because you will in this cabin.

Great views!

Great little cottage way up on the mountainside. Comfortable queen beds and plenty of extra pillows, blankets, towels and washcloths. Plenty of cookware and dishes on site as well as skewers for roasting marshamallows. There is only salt and pepper though so if your cooking bring your own cooking oils and storage and Saran wraps. There is A regular coffee pot as well as a Keurig, can openers, crock pot etc. Things to note: as you get close to the house on Laurel Ridge Way the road gets steep and is an adventure the last little bit up ( meaning the road is potted some and the rain washed away soil/ sand so it is a little rough the last little bit.) We had no problem with this in a Lincoln Aviator which has AWD and a good sized engine. The other thing to note is if you plan to use the loft…the rafters are open somewhat…having a 3 year old we were mindful of this and stayed with her when up there and placed a bench and and an ottoman along the rafters during our stay.. the stairs are also open on the back side… very cool but may make some nervous. Overall a really great cabin and so cozy. We enjoyed lunch at Cantabury and enjoyed the shops downtown. The views are so beautiful, the hot tub and fire pit are great additions for relaxing.

Excellent Cabin

Everything met expectations as listed and we really enjoyed our stay. The sliding door to the porch was not in great condition but overall not a big deal. The road to the cabin is a little rough if you're not used to gravel roads but definitely accessible in most vehicles.

Relaxing Chill Cabin

Absolutely loved the view! Used the many amenities that came with the cabin such as the fire pit, pool table and of course the hot tub! Everything was clean and it felt cozy. Our dog loved running around outside and playing in the leaves. Would definitely recommend having a larger vehicle we brought our Jeep and it made a big difference. No complaints whatsoever!

Beautiful view!

We loved this cabin! We enjoyed the use of the hot tub with the screened in porch. We also loved the upstairs with the pool table. If you had a small group of 6, you would still not feel cramped because there’s plenty of space to spread out. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

Perfect Getaway

This rental was everything we hoped for and more! Everything was clean and the cabin smelled wonderful when we arrived. The view from the hot tub was completely unobstructed and beautiful. We had all of the privacy and seclusion we wanted and the location was quiet even with neighbors nearby. 5/5 from us!

Beautiful property

The property itself was phenomenal. Very clean and well appointed. The views were absolutely spectacular and it was an added bonus that we were able to bring our doggies!! The company Vacasa who manage this property leave something to be desired unfortunately. There were issues on their sides with the payment processing which took 3 days to fix and each person I spoke with seemed to be out of the loop or unable to troubleshoot the problem. Most disappointingly was the fact that the hot tub was out of order and we were not informed prior to our stay. It then took two calls and over 12 hours for anyone to respond with an answer. I was offered a small refund for the hot tub being inoperable. I would have much rather booked another property with a working hot tub instead but I was not given the information to make that choice prior to checking in. With a working hot tub this would have been a 5 star experience.

Great Weekend Escape

This is a perfect cozy cabin for 4 adults!!! We had a great weekend away enjoying the outdoors!! Make sure you bring an SUV or some sort of vehicle with 4-wheel drive. It’s a VERY steep and bumpy drive up to the cabin. Would stay here again!!
