The cabin was as advertise, cute little rustic cabin in the mountains with modern amenities. One bed was soft other was more firm, the cabin had all the essentials. Rating it 3 stars for the host themselves. We book 3 nights and unfortunately had a to change our dates by 1 day and they wanted to charge us for another day on top of what we paid (so no refund for the day we were canceling but charge us full price for the day we wanted to add to the begining of the trip) I understand maybe a fee for changing dates but it was availabile and just changing from friday -monday to thursday-sunday. And we were still within our full refund if cancled time frame. Instead we just ended up canceling the the last night and shortening our trip. Then while we were there the fireplace stopped working and unfortunately my kids got sick from food they ate and clogged one of the toilets. We tried to unclogg it but the plunger was a cheap rubber one and it was so worn out it wouldnt suction. I called the local contact number during the operation hours and noone answers or called me back. So after hours I called the 24 hour service number and the operator just said she would send a note to the property manager. I never revieved a call from anyone. I contacted them through the vrbo app about it before we checked out and didnt recieve a response until way after we had gotten back home. The rental is managed by a larger company and they deffinatly need to work on their customer service.
