"The Plantation House, is all you could ever want in a Boutique B&B. Style, comfort, unique building, in its own grounds. Lovely pool area with all the usual features. Our room was beautiful decorated, which had two bedrooms adjoined by a lovely bathroom with complementary shower gel to bath salts. Louey & Morris are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast we had was excellent first time any of us had had German pancakes, freshly made while Louey chatted away from the kitchen. The next time we are in the Austin area we will definitely be staying at their wonderful home. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home. Keith, Carole, Lydia and Jack "

"This Hotel saved my weekend on race days last minute reservation. My BRB canceled on me 48 hours before our trip when it was paid for since February. I called and spoke to Christian he made sure we had the room we wanted . Excellent customer service this hotel was very clean, and I was very happy with my stay and will definitely stay there again. "We'd planned a mini-vacation and found the Hathorne Extended Stay in Pflugerville. Everything was great, except maybe the bed (more later). I called about five days ahead of our stay and requested an upper-floor room. The staff said they'd do their best to accommodate us. And they did - 4th floor just like I'd asked. I didn't know we'd have real breakfast options. During our stay, we enjoyed a variety of dishes, including scrambled eggs, omelets, biscuits & gravy, French toast sticks, sausage links and patties, potatoes, and make-your-own waffles. Plus all the things you usually find at limited breakfast facilities. The facility was very clean, the staff were wonderful and it was convenient to a lot of off-site places to eat nearby. The only complaint was that the bed seemed a little firm and was not very "pillow-like". We still slept well but we've slept on more comfortable hotel beds. If we're ever back in the Pflugerville area we'd definitely book a room at the Hawthorne again."
