Book a hotel near Black Bear Dinner Theatre, Sautee Nacoochee

"There was a swarm of bugs in front of our room that were unavoidable to get through the door. The lock inside looked like it had been ripped off the door frame a few times. The paint job in the room was rushed and incomplete. It looked like there was a cockroach leg stuck to the wall in the shower. The employee who checked us in wasn't wearing shoes and had a general vibe of uncleanliness. The television wasn't set up in our room. The overall vibe of the hotel was so bad that we checked out a day early and got a room at a different hotel."

"Nice wooded grounds, cabin is all wood construction - including beautiful vaulted ceilings. Plenty of parking for multiple cars. Away from town(s) but close enough for dinner. I didn't do much cooking but looked fully equipped. The only suggestion I would make is to modernize the lighting, including brighter led bulbs. Comms with host were easy and quick. The Helen/Cleveland area has many nice places for hiking, I liked Yonah Mtn and Smith Creek Falls."

"Apparently the property was in the process of being changed over from a Super 8 to a Quality Inn. So there was a lot of construction and updating going on at the time. The breakfast was minimal but fine. The secure wifi was out for our entire visit and the public wifi was out for at least half of the time. While the hotels.com listing said the parking was free, we were charged $3/night fee on arrival. We asked about that on check out and a different employee refunded the fee. However, the employee who had originally charged us saw and was very disgruntled, saying she was told that should never be done, no matter what the website said. The room itself seemed reasonably clean. However we did get some strange bug bites while there (maybe spiders) and we found trash from previous occupants in drawers."

"Beautiful property on a private lake with fishing. A great place for relaxation and fun. Communication with the host was easy and with a quick response. Check in was straight forward. The house is clean and well stocked. We will definitely be going back."

We gathered to celebrate my husband and my 40th with family from all over the country and this house accommodated all of our needs seamlessly. Beautifully decorated, this space truly feels like home. The hosts were such a pleasure to book with, responsive and kind! 10/10 we would absolutely stay here again!"
